𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
Lord, keep the lamps of our faith burning brightly with the oil of prayer and charity, that us may remain vigilant, steadfast, and ready to welcome Your presence in every moment today. Amen. 🙏🏼

𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲

𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 | 1 Corinthians 1:17-25
Brothers and sisters:
Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the Gospel,
and not with the wisdom of human eloquence,
so that the cross of Christ might not be emptied of its meaning.

The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
For it is written:
I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the learning of the learned I will set aside.
Where is the wise one?
Where is the scribe?
Where is the debater of this age?
Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish?
For since in the wisdom of God
the world did not come to know God through wisdom,
it was the will of God through the foolishness of the proclamation
to save those who have faith.
For Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom,
but we proclaim Christ crucified,
a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
but to those who are called, Jews and Greeks alike,
Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom,
and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗠 | Psalm 33:1-2, 4-5, 10-11
R. The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

Lord, strip away any spiritual pretense in our lives and transform our hidden thoughts, that us may live with genuine integrity and bring true healing to those around us today. Amen. 🙏🏼

Lord, purify our inner hearts from self-righteousness, and give us the grace to prioritize justice, mercy, and fidelity over superficial appearances so that us may reflect Your genuine love today. Amen. 🙏🏼

They widen their phylacteries and lengthen their tassels.
They love places of honor at banquets, seats of honor in synagogues,
greetings in marketplaces, and the salutation ‘Rabbi.’
As for you, do not be called ‘Rabbi.’
You have but one teacher, and you are all brothers.
Call no one on earth your father;
you have but one Father in heaven.
Do not be called ‘Master’;
you have but one master, the Christ.
The greatest among you must be your servant.
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled;
but whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
