【靈修札記 2020-07-13】

「要常常喜樂，不住地禱告，凡事謝恩，因為這是神在基督耶穌裏向你們所定的旨意。」帖撒羅尼迦前書 五16-18

凡事謝恩

保羅在人生的不同際遇中，即使是在困境重重之際，總是以禱告作為生命的祭，獻呈給上帝。他知道，個人的生命是在上帝的手中；因此，不論或順或逆，他是屬於上帝的，他的生命也是以上帝的旨意為人生的依歸。

當然，擁有基督教的信仰，並且要活出聖經的真義，其實一點也不容易，因為在現實人生中會經歷許多挑戰。生活中的衝撃，每一處也在考驗我們的信仰生命。然而，在人生不同際遇中所見的挑戰，不會阻礙我們的信仰，秘訣在於「要常常喜樂，不住地禱告，凡事謝恩」。盼望我們可以見到，上帝的恩典恆常豐盛的在我們的人生中。

The United Evangelical Church of the Philippines caps its year-long celebration of its 90th founding anniversary with a choral concert entitled Rise Up! Arise!

Rise Up! Arise! featuring Felix Mendelssohn's oratorio, St. Paul, is an offering of thanksgiving to the almighty and faithful God of UECP. Through the dramatic story of the life of the Apostle Paul, the listeners will be challenged to rise up like Paul to reflect God’s glory to a darkened world through the sharing of the message of salvation.

With Peggy Sy Uy as musical director and Jaime Del Mundo as artistic director, the concert will be held at the United Evangelical Church of the Philippines Sanctuary on October 27, 2019 at 7:30 in the evening. Everyone is cordially invited to attend this concert. Admission is free.
