INSTRUMENTS OF PRAISE

What a beautiful evening of worship and celebration!

From kids and youth to adults, we witnessed God-given talents being used through different instruments—all for one purpose: to glorify His name.

Each note, melody, and musical offering reminded us that our talents are gifts from God, and when surrendered to Him, they can become powerful instruments of praise.

Thank you to everyone who shared their God-given gifts and helped make this evening a meaningful celebration of worship!

“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.” — Psalm 150:6

Soli Deo Gloria!

The world is constantly setting the pace, telling us what to follow, what to believe, and who to become. But as Christian youth, we were never called to simply follow the crowd. We were called to lead.

It’s time to ignite the leader within you, discover your God-given potential, and reignite your passion for serving.

Don’t let the trends of the world dictate your direction. Set the pace. Break the trend. Make an 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐓.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers…” — 1 Timothy 4:12

GRANDPARENTS SUNDAY | SEPTEMBER 13, 2026

Manila Baptist Church joyfully celebrated Grandparents Sunday, a special day dedicated to honoring and appreciating the grandparents in our church family.

From the First Service to the Third Service, MBC recognized and honored our dear grandparents for their love, wisdom, prayers, sacrifices, and faithful presence in the lives of their families and in the church.

Grandparents hold a special place in every family. Their stories remind us of God’s faithfulness through the years, their wisdom guides the generations that follow, and their prayers continue to be a source of strength and blessing.

It was a beautiful opportunity for the church family to pause and say “Thank you” to our grandparents—for the many years of love they have given, the lessons they have shared, and the godly heritage they continue to pass on to their children and grandchildren.

May we continue to treasure, respect, and celebrate our grandparents—not only on this special Sunday, but every day.

“The memory of the righteous is a blessing.” — Proverbs 10:7

Happy Grandparents Sunday to all our beloved grandparents!

May the Lord continue to bless you, strengthen you, and use your lives and testimonies to impact generations for His glory.

DEACON’S SUNDAY | September 6, 2026

Last September 6, 2026, Manila Baptist Church celebrated Deacon’s Sunday, a special Sunday dedicated to honoring and praying for our Board of Deacons and their families.

We were blessed to have some of our deacons as guest speakers during our services:

• 1st Service — Bro. Bobby Seballa
• 2nd Service — Bro. Patrick Flestado
• 3rd Service — Bro. Henry Aruta

Each shared from the Word of God on stewardship, fittingly emphasizing our church’s focus for the month of September. Their messages reminded us of the importance of faithfully stewarding what God has entrusted to us—our time, talents, resources, and lives—for His glory.

Our deacons, together with their families, were also prayed over by Ptr. Joel, as we thanked God for how He continues to use them to come alongside and assist our pastors in serving the King and caring for His church.

We are grateful for men who willingly serve with humble hearts, faithful hands, and a desire to honor the Lord.

As a church family, let us continue to pray for and lift up our pastors, deacons, and all our church leaders as they faithfully serve the Lord. May God grant them wisdom, strength, grace, and joyful hearts as they continue to serve His people.

“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”
— 1 Corinthians 4:2

To God be all the glory for faithful servants and for the privilege of serving our King.
Soli Deo Gloria!
