Ang 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙢'𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 ay isang makapangyarihang pagsasalarawan ng buhay Kristiyano. Mula nang sinulat ni John Bunyan noong ika-17 siglo, naging isa na ito sa pinakakilalang Christian literature. Sa aklat na ito, susubaybayan natin ang paglalakbay ni Christian mula sa City of Destruction patungo sa Celestial City—isang larawan ng ating sariling paglalakbay sa pananampalataya.

Sa bawat kabanata, makikita ang mga hamon, mga tukso, at mga biyayang kaakibat ng pagsunod kay Cristo—na sumasalamin sa ating karanasan bilang mga mananampalataya. Isa itong aklat na hindi lamang nagkukuwento, kundi nag-aanyaya sa atin na maglakbay kasama si Christian—upang matuto, mapatatag, at higit sa lahat, mapalapit sa Diyos.

Maingat itong isinalin sa Taglish upang mas maraming Pinoy ang mapagpala ng mahalagang librong ito. Kasama sa edisyong ito mula sa Desiring God ang introduction ni John Piper sa buhay at ministeryo ni Bunyan, gayundin ang foreword ni Leland Ryken, at ang preface ni John Newton na isinulat noong 1776.

As Christians, we believe the Bible alone is our ultimate standard for truth and faith. Everything else — creeds, confessions, church leaders — only have authority because they faithfully reflect what Scripture teaches.
For example, the Nicene Creed is not equal to the Bible. The Bible stands above all. But because the Creed rightly summarizes key biblical truths, it still carries authority — not over Scripture, but over us, since it helps keep our faith aligned with God’s Word.
In the same way, church leaders (like elders) have authority, but it’s not their own. Their authority comes from and is limited by the Word of God.
So, while the Bible alone is our highest rule of faith, we thank God for faithful creeds and leaders who help us stay true to it.
