“May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.” - 2 Thessalonians 3:5

Examination season returns again. As we take our time to prepare and to review, let us not forget to also give time and to pray to our Almighty Father. Through struggles and challenges, He is there to lift our hearts and to guide us in our paths.

Let us all pray to God and ask for His blessing and wisdom. And may the Holy Spirit imbue us with fiery passion and guidance as we pick up our pens.

As one family, let us all solemnly pray together and wish everyone good luck in our examinations!

“Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said. - Matthew 28: 5-6

Today we reach the pinnacle of the liturgical calendar, the event which serves as the anchor of our Christian faith, today we celebrate Christ who has risen, who has triumphed over death and won for us the glory of salvation!

In our everyday lives, many of us may be going through what St. Mary Magdalene felt as she approached the tomb of Christ. The pain, sorrow, and sadness that she experienced after witnessing the death of Christ are feelings that we are all too familiar with as we face the challenges of our lives. However, as she entered the tomb with a heavy heart, she is greeted by an angel who proclaims:

“Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised just as He said.”

One can imagine the hope and joy that immediately filled the heart of Mary Magdalene upon hearing this good news.

Today, as we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord, let us also remember that in the midst of our struggles, in the midst of a fallen world, when all hope seems to be lost, Christ enters into our lives to help us rise from our sorrow and to give us the hope that can only come from seeing that the tomb is empty, for He is risen!

As we face new challenges, let us remember what the angel said. Do not be afraid!

“Easter does not eliminate the cross, but defeats it in the miraculous duel that changed our human history. Even our time, marked by so many crosses, invokes the dawn of Paschal hope.” - Pope Leo XIV

Let us spare a moment of silence and lament on the Great sacrifice of Jesus this 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆

A sacrifice rooted in love in order to save us from sin, a sacrifice done to fulfill God’s mission, a sacrifice made for the good of all.

This commerates the day Jesus was placed in the Tomb before his awaited resurrection. Where it symbolizes everlasting love and accomplishing prophecy. 🙏

We celebrate this day in a moment of solemn 𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 as we await the miracle of life and resurrection

Blessed be God, as he gave his only Son, to show his humanity and to fulfill his Divinity!

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 is a dignified Christian observance that honors Jesus Christ's crucifixion and death at Calvary. It occurs on the Friday before Easter Sunday and is commemorated during Holy Week.

The day is recognized by fasting, prayer, mourning, and religious practices that highlight the Bible's account of Christ's suffering and sacrifice.

For Christians, Good Friday has deeper spiritual value and marks the summit of love and compassion, as Jesus sacrificed His life to save humanity. On this day, we are encouraged to ponder on the principles of devotion, humility, forgiveness, and redemption.

Let us solemnly reflect and be reminded of the sacrifice written in suffering, sealed with eternal love. 🤍

𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲! Where we, as children of God, gather and honor the Kingly Mission of Jesus Christ.

Where we reflect on all the 𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 that Jesus has fulfilled in order to accomplish the mission endowed to him by God.

Palm Sunday remembers Jesus Christ's entry into Jerusalem. This event marks the beginning of Holy Week and fulfills Old prophecy, with Jesus entering as a humble king on a donkey. The day celebrates Jesus as the promised Messiah. 🙏

It shows us themes of 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞. Where believers such as us, are encouraged to follow Christ's example during difficult times.

The day has come!

Medicine is no easy feat, but alongside its challenges we come to see the very essence of the profession; compassion, understanding, and faith.

Today, we gather for 𝗣𝗮𝘅 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀, a lecture seminar that brings together the stories and experiences of medical professionals and how their faith has guided them throughout their practice.

Come, and take the opportunity to reflect, learn, and be inspired!
