How are you doing, Thomasians? 🤔

As we return from the Holy Week break and gradually approach the end of the school year, we hope peace fills your mind amid this whirlwind of emotions.

TFP invites you to a seminar titled, “Anatomy of Peace: Healing Conflict with Compassion,” on April 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM!

This seminar will not only cover how to handle conflicts with others but also those within ourselves. Additionally, we will discuss topics like mental health, anger management, peace, and more. We look forward to exploring these subjects with you as we strive to use compassion to improve ourselves.

"They took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting, 'Hosanna!' Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" John 12:13

Last March 29th, we solemnly celebrated the start of Holy Week.

Palm Sunday marks the final Sunday of Lent, commemorating Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. Riding a humble donkey, He was met by crowds who laid palm branches—symbols of peace and victory—at His feet.
This tradition was established by the early Church in Jerusalem to honor Christ as the sacrificial lamb who came to seek and save the lost. Today, we celebrate by having palms blessed to symbolize our homage to the King of Kings.

In celebration of Palm Sunday, let us honor Christ’s humility and sacrifice. As we celebrate His victory, may we welcome Him into our hearts this Holy Week.

This occasion is a powerful reminder of the values of discipline, gratitude, and the commitment to helping those in need. We recognize the significance of this milestone and join the community in honoring the spirit of service and faith that defines this blessed day.

“Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the Holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her. She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:20-21)

Last March 19, we honored the Solemnity of Saint Joseph. He is a man defined not by the words he spoke, but by his profound silence and his ability to hear the voice of the living God. As the Patron Saint of the Universal Church and the foster father of Jesus, he serves as the ultimate model of what it means to be a just, holy, and obedient leader.

As we celebrated the life of the Foster Father of the Son of God, we sought to find quiet courage to protect what is sacred and to lead with integrity in our own families and communities.

Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Babae ka, hindi babae ka lang.

Women’s Month highlights and affirms the diverse experiences of womanhood. Our community welcomes all who live and express womanhood, and is intentionally broad and unapologetic. We are united by our shared struggle.

Defining a woman only by biology ignores our soul and our work. This limits us and stands in the way of the liberation we seek. We have moved beyond narrow textbook definitions. Womanhood is not just biology. It is an evolving journey of courage, a commitment to choice, and a refusal to be defined by anyone but oneself.

We build on the work of women before us. We honor pioneers who paved the way, activists who sought the freedoms we enjoy, and the collective spirit to keep fighting until every woman is truly free.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.”
— Proverbs 31:8–9

Today, February 25, we mark 40 years since the People Power Revolution, a defining moment when ordinary Filipinos chose courage over fear and unity over division. Along EDSA, faith, resilience, and collective action became the driving force that restored democracy and reshaped our nation’s future.

May this day remind us that the fight for justice and accountability does not end in history books. The spirit of EDSA lives on whenever we choose integrity, defend human rights, and stand firm in the face of injustice.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10

Last February 18, we observed Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Lenten season.

Ash Wednesday reminds us of the time when Jesus Christ spent forty days in the desert, fasting and resisting temptation. The ashes imposed on our foreheads symbolize our mortality and our call to conversion, echoing the words: “Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

In celebration of this sacred season, may we take this time to examine our hearts, turn away from sin, and renew our relationship with God through prayer, sacrifice, and acts of charity.
