1. "The Powerful Supplication of Prophet Yunus (Peace and Blessings be upon him): A Prayer for Divine Response"

Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Sa`d (May ALLAH be pleased with him) narrated from his father, from Sa`d (May ALLAH be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings be upon him ﷺ) said:
“The supplication of Dhun-Nun (Prophet Yunus Peace and Blessings be upon him) when he supplicated, while in the belly of the whale was: ‘There is none worthy of worship except You, Glory to You, Indeed, I have been of the transgressors.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ،

(Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu minaẓ-ẓālimīn)’

So indeed, no Muslim man supplicates with it for anything, ever, except Allah responds to him.”

2. "Words of Solace: The Supplication Taught by the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him ﷺ) in Times of Distress" ***

It was narrated that Asma’ bint ‘Umais (May ALLAH be pleased with her) said:
“The Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings be upon him ﷺ) taught me some words to say at times of distress:

«( اللَّهُ ، اللَّهُ رَبِّي لَا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا )»

Allah! Allahu Rabbi la ushriku bihi shay’an

(Allah, Allah is my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him).”

Supplication

1. "حضرت یونس علیہ السلام کی طاقتور دعا: اللّٰه تعالیٰ کی بارگاہ میں قبولیت کی ضمانت"

حضرت سعد رضی اللّٰه تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللّٰه صلَّی اللّٰهُ علیہ وسلَّم نے فرمایا: ”ذوالنون ( حضرت یونس علیہ السلام ) کی دعا جو انہوں نے مچھلی کے پیٹ میں رہنے کے دوران کی تھی وہ یہ تھی:

«لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ،»

”یا اللّٰه تعالیٰ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں، تو پاک ہے، میں ہی ظالم ( خطاکار ) ہوں،"

کیونکہ یہ ایسی دعا ہے کہ جب بھی کوئی مسلمان شخص اسے پڑھ کر دعا کرے گا تو اللّٰه تعالیٰ اس کی دعا قبول فرمائے گا“۔

2. "تسلی کے کلمات: نبی کریم ﷺ کی سکھائی ہوئی دعا برائے پریشانی کے اوقات"

حضرت عبداللّٰه بن جعفر طیار رضی اللّٰه تعالیٰ عنہ اپنی والدہ حضرت اسماء بنت عمیس رضی اللّٰه تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے فرمایا: اللّٰه تعالیٰ کے رسول ﷺ نے پریشانی کے موقع پر پڑھنے کے لیے مجھے یہ الفاظ سکھائے:

«( اللَّهُ ، اللَّهُ رَبِّي لَا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا )»

’’اللّٰه، صرف اللّٰه میرا رب ہے ۔ میں اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہیں کرتی ۔‘‘

Abu Huraira (May ALLAH be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (Peace and Blessings be upon him ﷺ ‌) as saying:
When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious child, who prays for him (for the deceased).

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللّٰه عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللّٰه ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جب انسان فوت ہو جائے تو اس کا عمل منقطع ہو جاتا ہے سوائے تین اعمال کے ( وہ منقطع نہیں ہوتے ): صدقہ جاریہ یا ایسا علم جس سے فائدہ اٹھایا جائے یا نیک اولاد جو اس کے لیے دعا کرے۔‘‘
