More than planning. More than strategy. It was a journey of communal discernment.

For two grace-filled days at the Benilde Retreat and Conference Center in Tagaytay City, the Benilde Vocations Ministry gathered not simply to create plans, but to listen deeply to God, to one another, to the realities of our time, and to the hopes of the Lasallian Mission.

Inspired by the quiet yet extraordinary witness of Saint Benilde Romançon, we returned to the questions that matter most: Why do we exist? Who are we called to accompany? What is God inviting us to become?

Together, we revisited the foundations of vocation ministry, renewed our vision and mission, discerned emerging needs and future possibilities, and embraced strategic directions that respond to the evolving mission of the De La Salle Brothers in the Philippines. More importantly, we rediscovered ourselves not merely as a working committee, but as a community of discernment, united by a shared responsibility to accompany every Benildean in discovering where they truly belong and how they are called to live a life of meaning, purpose, and generous service.

As we move forward, we carry with us a renewed conviction: vocation is not simply about choosing a path but it is about becoming the person God lovingly calls us to be, and courageously saying "yes" each day in service of others.

May this renewed vision continue to inspire us to dream together, discern together, and journey together, so that more hearts may discover that God's call is alive, personal, and waiting to be embraced.
