Sometimes, faith means not having all the answers.
This morning, we were reminded of Abraham’s faith through “Four Questions Abraham Had Never Asked God.”
If it were us, we might have asked:
“Lord, where are You taking me?”
But Abraham went—even when he didn’t know where.
“Lord, how is this even possible?”
But Abraham trusted the God who made the promise.
“Lord, when will this happen?”
But Abraham waited on a God whose timing is never too late.
“Lord, why my child?”
But even when God’s ways were difficult to understand, Abraham still chose to trust Him.
And maybe that’s where faith becomes real for us.
We may have questions. We may not understand the where, the how, the when, or even the why.
But we can still say:
“I may not understand what You’re doing, Lord, but I know You. And I choose to trust You.”
Because faith isn’t always about having answers.
Sometimes, it’s simply knowing Who holds the answers. 🤍
