Bukas ay Holy Trinity Sunday—isang dakilang pagdiriwang ng ating pananampalataya sa Ama, Anak, at Espiritu Santo, ang iisang Diyos sa tatlong Persona.

Bilang mga Katoliko, ang pagdalo sa Banal na Misa tuwing Linggo ay hindi lamang isang tradisyon kundi isang tungkulin at pribilehiyo. Sa Misa tayo ay sumasamba sa Diyos, nakikinig sa Kanyang Salita, at tumatanggap ng mga biyayang kailangan natin sa ating pang-araw-araw na buhay.

Huwag nating hayaang maging hadlang ang pagod, abala, o anumang pansamantalang bagay sa pagbibigay ng oras sa Diyos na nagbigay sa atin ng lahat.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

Magkita-kita tayo bukas sa Banal na Misa.

📖 GOSPEL OF THE DAY | May 30, 2026

✠ Holy Gospel according to Mark 11:27–33

Jesus and His disciples returned once more to Jerusalem.
As He was walking in the temple area,
the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders approached Him
and said to Him,
“By what authority are You doing these things?
Or who gave You this authority to do them?”

Jesus said to them,
“I shall ask you one question.
Answer Me, and I will tell you
by what authority I do these things.
Was John’s baptism of heavenly or of human origin?
Answer Me.”

They discussed this among themselves and said,
“If we say, ‘Of heavenly origin,’
He will say,
‘Then why did you not believe him?’
But shall we say, ‘Of human origin’?”

They feared the crowd,
for they all thought John really was a prophet.
So they said to Jesus in reply,
“We do not know.”

Then Jesus said to them,
“Neither shall I tell you
by what authority I do these things.”

✝️ Reflection:
Jesus teaches us that true authority comes from God. While others questioned Him with pride and doubt, Christ answered with wisdom and truth. May we open our hearts to His authority and follow Him with faith, humility, and obedience.

Life is short, and every moment is a chance to lead souls closer to God.

May we spend our days loving, praying, sacrificing, and sharing Christ with others — because saving souls is the greatest work we can do on earth.

State of Grace: Ang Sandata ng Kaluluwa

Sa spiritual warfare, hindi sapat ang simpleng paniniwala lang. Ang kaluluwang hiwalay sa biyaya ng Diyos ay madaling tuksuhin, guluhin, at pabagsakin ng kaaway.

Ang mortal sin ay parang pagbukas ng pinto sa kadiliman. Ngunit ang pagiging nasa state of grace ay proteksyon ng kaluluwa — isang buhay na nakaugat kay Cristo.

Sabi ng Kasulatan:

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
— Ephesians 6:11

At ayon sa Catechism of the Catholic Church:

“Mortal sin… causes exclusion from Christ’s kingdom and the eternal death of hell.”
— CCC 1861

Kapag nasa state of grace tayo:
✠ Mas malakas laban sa tukso
✠ Mas malinaw ang isip laban sa panlilinlang ng demonyo
✠ Mas matatag sa panalangin
✠ Mas handang lumaban sa spiritual battles araw-araw

Ang Confession ay hindi kahinaan. Ito ay pakikipagdigma laban sa kasalanan.
Ang Eucharist ay hindi ordinaryong tinapay — ito ang lakas ng kaluluwa sa gitna ng digmaan.

Manatili tayo sa biyaya ng Diyos, dahil ang kaluluwang nasa state of grace ay hindi madaling maigupo ng kadiliman.

No one. No man, not even the gates of hell shall prevail against it. I stand with the Catholic Church and I am honored to be part of the persecuted body of Christ.

This quote matters because Jesus Himself promised that His Church would never be destroyed. In Matthew 16:18, He told Saint Peter that “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” For over 2,000 years, the Catholic Church has been attacked, mocked, betrayed by sinners within it, and persecuted from outside it. Yet she still stands.

But we also need to be honest. Scandals are real. Sin inside the Church is real. Every Catholic is a sinner in need of God’s mercy. So stop judging the Catholic Church by her Judas figures. Judge her by her fruit.

Look at the saints, martyrs, missionaries, mothers, priests, and ordinary faithful people who gave their lives for Christ. Look at the hospitals, orphanages, schools, confessions, conversions, and souls brought back to God through the Church. The Church is holy and infallible in her teaching because Christ is holy, not because every member is perfect.

And where the Sacraments are, especially the Holy Eucharist, there His Church remains.

Real faith becomes visible when following Christ costs you something.

PANANAMPALATAYA AT PAGPAPATAWAD

📖 Marcos 11:22–26
Sumagot si Jesus, “Manampalataya kayo sa Diyos. Tandaan ninyo: kung sabihin ninuman sa bundok na ito, ‘Maalis ka riyan at mahulog sa dagat,’ at hindi siya nag-aalinlangan sa kanyang puso kundi naniniwalang mangyayari ang kanyang sinabi, mangyayari nga iyon sa kanya. Kaya sinasabi ko sa inyo: anuman ang hingin ninyo sa panalangin, maniwala kayong tinanggap na ninyo ito at mapapasainyo nga. At kapag tumayo kayo upang manalangin, patawarin ninyo ang sinumang may kasalanan sa inyo upang patawarin din kayo ng inyong Ama na nasa langit sa inyong mga kasalanan. Ngunit kung hindi kayo magpapatawad, hindi rin naman kayo patatawarin ng inyong Ama na nasa langit sa inyong mga kasalanan.”

🙏 Ang pananampalatayang tunay ay nagtitiwala sa Diyos at marunong magpatawad.

📖 GOSPEL OF THE DAY | May 29, 2026

✠ Holy Gospel according to Mark 11:11–26

Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple area.
The next day, seeing a fig tree with leaves but no fruit,
He said to it,
“May no one ever eat of your fruit again.”

Then Jesus entered the temple
and drove out those buying and selling there.
He overturned the tables of the money changers and said:

“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.
But you have made it a den of thieves.”

Later, Peter noticed that the fig tree had withered.
Jesus replied:

“Have faith in God.
Amen, I say to you,
whoever says to this mountain,
‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’
and does not doubt in his heart but believes,
it shall be done for him.”

✝️ Reflection:
God calls us not only to appear faithful outwardly, but to bear real spiritual fruit in our lives. Through sincere prayer, unwavering faith, and a pure heart, we become living witnesses of Christ’s presence in the world.

In the silence of the Holy Hour, we do not simply sit before the Eucharist — we sit before Jesus Himself.

Take this moment to rest your heart, surrender your burdens, and listen to His voice in the quiet.

“Could you not watch one hour with Me?” — Matthew 26:40

Lord Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, draw us closer to Your Sacred Heart. Teach us to adore, to trust, and to love You more each day.

✠ Holy Gospel according to Mark 10:46–52

As Jesus was leaving Jericho with His disciples and a sizable crowd,
Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the roadside.

On hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth,
he began to cry out and say,
“Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!”

Many rebuked him, telling him to be silent.
But he kept calling out all the more,
“Son of David, have pity on me!”

Jesus stopped and said,
“Call him.”

They called the blind man, saying to him,
“Take courage; get up, Jesus is calling you.”

He threw aside his cloak,
sprang up, and came to Jesus.

Jesus said to him,
“What do you want me to do for you?”

The blind man replied,
“Master, I want to see.”

Jesus told him,
“Go your way; your faith has saved you.”

Immediately he received his sight
and followed Jesus on the way.

✝️ Reflection:
Like Bartimaeus, we are called to cry out to Jesus with faith and trust, even when the world tries to silence us. Christ hears every sincere prayer, and through faith, He opens not only our eyes, but also our hearts to follow Him faithfully.

LIGHT OF FAITH

The Holy Hearts of Nazareth Media invites you to our LIGHT OF FAITH apostolate whereby we engage with those who are discerning or are curious about the Faith.

Often times we are lost in understanding and applying what we believe in, be it concerning doctrine, scripture, liturgy and tradition.

In a fast paced world driven by technology, social media and advances in science many become confused in reconciling matters of faith in this changing world.

It is our hope that this LIGHT OF FAITH engagement would be an avenue for anyone to pose questions in regards to their Life of Faith which we hope to provide ample answers, as Theology Educators, drawn from the Deposit of Faith of Holy Mother Church.

As the Apostle Peter reminds us:
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” -1 Peter 4:10-11
