Today, September 8, we celebrate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. May she serve as hope to all people, especially women to empower themselves and to continue serving in Holy Life with Faith, Hope and Service on our side.

Almighty Father, we raise our hearts to You
in gratitude for the wonders of creation of which we are part, for your providence in sustaining us in our needs, and for Your wisdom that guides the course of the universe.

We acknowledge our sins against You and the rest of creation. We have not been good stewards of nature. We have confused Your command to subdue the earth. The environment is made top suffer our wrongdoing and now, we reap the harvest of our abuse and indifference.

Global warming is upon us. Typhoons, floods, volcanic eruptions and natural calamities occur in increasing number and intensity. We turn to You, our loving Father and beg forgiveness for our sins. We ask that we, our loved ones and our hard-earned possessions be spared from the threat of calamities, natural and man-made. We beseech You to inspire us all to grow into responsible stewards of Your creation, and generous neighbors to those in need.

Amen.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Altar Servers was invited to serve at the Eucharistic Celebration of the CEAP-NCR GENERAL ASSEMBLY DAY-2, presided over by Most Rev. Ruperto C. Santos, D.D., Bishop of Antipolo, at the Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P. Building, University of Santo Tomas.

𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑴𝑬: "𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒂𝒚”
"𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔" (𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 15:15)

Last July 24-26, some officers from various religious clubs, including the Ministry of Altar Servers, attended PCNE 2026 at the Quadricentennial Pavilion of the University of Santo Tomas.

Throughout the three days of Plenary Talks, Concurrent Sessions, and other activities, they made new friends, deepened their faith, and realized the importance of Sangkay in the mission of the New Evangelization.

Throughout the countless talks and sessions, they were able to embody the lessons shared by the speakers, who spoke about their relationship with God and how they continue to help others in times of hardship.

As His Eminence Jose F. Cardinal Advincula said,

“Magsarangkay kita. Padayon ngan magbinuligay. Hinay hinay, kanunay, ngan buligay.”

Let us continue to work together in spreading the Word of God at all times, even in the face of hardships.
