May we be reminded by this reflection that God is always speaking to us, guiding us through His Word, our experiences, and the people He places in our lives. Like Mary, may we learn to quiet our hearts, listen attentively, and trust in God’s plan. Listening to God is not only about hearing His voice but also about responding with faith and allowing His will to guide our lives.

May we always have the courage to say “yes” to God, just as Mary did, and faithfully follow wherever He leads us.

Our Klasmeyts gathered at Saint Therese’s Chapel to celebrate the 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, presided over by one of our chaplains, Rev. Fr. Biju Scaria Elukunnel, C.M.

As we begin another academic year, we come together in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to guide our community with wisdom, strength, and openness to God’s will. May the Spirit continue to inspire our students, faculty, and staff as we face new opportunities, challenges, and experiences throughout the year.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 for serving as our Mass offerors and sponsors. Your generosity and support helped make this celebration possible.

Holiness is not only about what we do for others; it is also about our daily decision to grow closer to God and live according to His will. When each person strives to become holy, our community becomes a place where faith is lived, love is shared, and everyone is encouraged to grow together.

May we continue to seek holiness in our everyday lives and, through our own example, help build a community that reflects God’s love.

𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬

The 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 will resume on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

All members of the Adamsonian community are invited to join this Eucharistic celebration as we gather in prayer and seek the guidance, wisdom, and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 | 𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗟𝗨𝗜𝗚𝗜 𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗢, 𝗦.𝗦.𝗖.

Today, we commemorate the life of 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝘂𝗶𝗴𝗶 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗼, a remarkable model of youth leadership, resilience, and radical charity.

Long before he was raised to the altars, he was just like many of us — deeply involved in his local youth groups and elected as the parish president of Catholic Action at just 18 years old. His life took an intense turn when he was drafted into World War II, surviving grueling battles and a harrowing imprisonment in Siberian prison camps. Yet, amidst the coldness and despair of the camps, he chose to look outward, selflessly nursing his fellow prisoners suffering from infectious diseases.

This profound encounter with Christ in the suffering led him to dedicate his life entirely to the sick upon returning to Italy. Joining the Brothers of St. Joseph Benedict Cottolengo as Brother Luigi della Consolata, he spent 30 years serving hospital patients and individuals facing mental illness with unwavering professional skill and profound human warmth. Even when confronted with a sudden diagnosis of leukemia at age 55, his response was a serene and joyful surrender to God's providence.

you who transformed a dark prison camp and a busy hospital ward into spaces of divine encounter, pray for our youth.

𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 | 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗨𝗜𝗦

Today, we commemorate 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀, King of France, a model of Christian leadership, humility, and service. He used his position not for his own glory, but to uphold justice, care for the poor, and lead his people closer to God. His life reminds us that true leadership is rooted in faith, compassion, and a sincere desire to serve others.

May we be inspired by Saint Louis to lead with humility, act with justice, and serve with love. May we always remember that whatever responsibility we are given is an opportunity to become instruments of God’s love and goodness to others.

Lord God,
through the intercession of Saint Louis,
teach us to lead with humility, serve with compassion,

𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 | 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗝𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗛 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗭, 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦𝗧

Today, August 25, our community joins the entire Church in commemorating 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘇, a holy priest and the patron saint of Christian schools.

At a time when education was a privilege reserved only for the wealthy, St. Joseph Calasanz looked at the poor youth of Rome with eyes of compassion and saw a different future for them. Driven by an unwavering love for God and a passion for youth development, he pioneered the first free public school in Europe and founded the Piarist Fathers (Order of Poor Clerics Regular of the Mother of God of the Pious Schools).

He believed that true education does not only sharpen the intellect but transforms the heart — molding young minds in both "𝗣𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴" (Pietas et Litterae).

Lord God,
You adorned Saint Joseph Calasanz
with such charity and patience that he spent his life
instructing the young in wisdom and faith.

Grant that, as we honor him today,
we may follow his example of selfless service

𝟮𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 | 𝟰𝟲𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗦 𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗖 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬

On the memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the alumni and current members of one of our Mandated Religious Organizations, the 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, gathered at our Saint Therese Chapel as they celebrated their 46th Anniversary.

The celebration began with faith sharing, testimonies, and joyful singing, allowing members to reflect on their journey of faith and the blessings they have received throughout the years. To culminate the celebration, a Holy Mass was presided over by one of our chaplains and their Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Biju Scaria Elukunnel, C.M.

May the Christus Vincit Catholic Charismatic Community continue to grow in faith, unity, and service. May their 46 years of journey inspire both their present and future members to remain steadfast in their commitment to Christ and to faithfully live out their mission in the University community.

May they continue to be a witness of God’s love and a source of inspiration to others, always guided by the Blessed Virgin Mary.

𝟭𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 | 𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗦’ 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 | Our 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀 (Women's Basketball and Badminton) took part in a recollection facilitated by 𝗕𝗿𝗼. 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, a lay formator and Coordinator of the 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴 - 𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. The activity was held from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and centered on the theme “𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨, 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙.”

The recollection was a meaningful time of reflection, prayer, and sharing. It allowed the athletes to pause from their daily training and competitions, reflect on their personal journeys, and deepen their relationship with God. Through guided talks and moments of silence, they were reminded of the importance of faith, discipline, teamwork, and service — 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘵. The activity encouraged them to live out Vincentian values by becoming instruments of hope and positive transformation in their teams and communities.
