What are the types of food allowed during the Days of Abstinence (All Fridays of Lent)?

NOT ALLOWED - Meat (except amphibians)
ALLOWED - Seafoods (❗lavish buffet is prohibited), fruits and vegetables, dairy products including eggs, milk, cheese, bread.

PS. The Church made an exemption to all Catholics who are in need of extra medical attention (sick and pregnant).

THE CHAIR OF ST. PETER, Apostle
22 February; Feast Day

The Feast of the Chair of St. Peter commemorates Christ’s choosing Peter to sit in his place as the servant-authority of the whole Church. Jesus told Peter that “YOU ARE PETER, AND UPON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH.” It is with this pastoral responsibility given him that the Pope shepherds Christ’s flock.

[Collect Prayer] †Almighty Father, who inspired Simon Peter, first among the apostles, to confess Jesus as Messiah and Son of the Living God: Keep your Church steadfast upon the rock of this faith, that in unity and peace we may proclaim the one truth and follow the one Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. †Amen!
