Bible Verse of The Day! September 1, 2021

God is eternal and God is Spirit and God made man in His own image and likeness and at the innermost core of man's innermost being we have a human spirit, which was designed for 'spirit to Spirit' fellowship with our God: (a mutual, loving communion with our heavenly Father).

God in His grace had slowly and beautifully unveiled Himself to His creation as our Father and Lord - our Provider and Peace, and He revealed Himself as our Healer and Helper - our Shepherd and Shield. And He also disclosed Himself as our Sanctifier; our Righteousness; our Saviour and our King. Amen

It is probably seems familiar to the coronavirus quarantine.
( 7:16) when God shut Noah into the ark so that he would be safe during God’s judgment. This is speaking of God’s judgment past, present, and future and how He keeps His people safe, hidden in Himself as their refuge. God will protect us in life and in death.
There is a longing for God’s judgment because with His judgment comes rescue and peace for His people. This is one of salvation, and the people renew their trust in the Lord. Yahweh is the “Rock eternal”. He can be trusted over all else. In there is a plea for God’s judgment, and answers that plea with a command to wait with quiet faith, confident in God’s plan, assured of God’s promise.
Just as the people of God learned simply being a person of God or doing the right things does not mean you will be spared from earthly harm, illness, or suffering. This fallen world is filled with illness and suffering, and we can often find ourselves in the midst of harm.
Trust in God and does not fear because we knows that no matter what happens God will be our refuge. God will show mercy to us and He will protect you for eternity whether in this life or through death. You will be kept safe in the arms of God. Do not look at this life as all there is, for there is goodness and glory beyond comprehension awaiting us in eternity.

When you are in pain, when you are down, when you are ill and when you are suffering you can go to Him in prayer, you can put your trust in His ultimate healing (whether on this earth or in death), you can find peace in His refuge because your soul is safe in His hands.
God will still provide opportunities in this quarantine from the coronavirus. Ask God to allow you to help people in this time, whether through prayer, a phone call, volunteering etc.
Amen.

God’s children must learn if they are to reach maturity, with a faith that trusts His word, and obeys His command.
As we continue on our journey through life we will be required to face even greater challenges and more rigorous difficulties. But we are to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, by putting on Christ and standing firm by abiding in Him, knowing that His grace is sufficient for the greatest challenges we may meet and being fully assured that God is the one Who is going with us, for He has promises, ''I will never leave You nor forsake You, even to the consummation of the age.''
He has promised, no matter the situation, he will never leave us. No matter our fear, he is with us.
(When the world has become an evil place, we must call on our righteous Lord.)

When difficulties happen or when problems rise up in life we need to turn our hearts to the comforting words of Scripture. We need to grab a promise and hold on to that promise knowing that we have a wonderful and faithful God, who has promised to be with us in all the twists and turns of life. He has committed to be our sufficiency in all situations.
We simply need to remember that the Word of God is life and health. His word is true and trustworthy. His word is perfect and pure and His promises to us endure from one generation to another. And God has promised to heal the broken-hearted and bind up their wounds.

What He has done for others He will do for you. Let us trust in His love and rest in His Word and believe the truth of God's Word. Let us hold on to the truth that our Saviour suffered for us so that He was able to both heal our hearts and bind up our wounds because His grace is sufficient

There is comfort in the Lord to those who reach out to him.

Revenge is not ours to take. Evil weighs down our hearts and becomes a never-ending cycle. The Lord will avenge those who chose to live an evil life.

God has given us a cause and a way to resist evil, and not be overcome by it. There is no evil that can overcome us.
We are not to passively sit still like a bulwark or wall against the onslaught of evil, but rather we are to take the fight to darkness, bringing the light with us. We are to storm the gates of hell with our weapons of warfare, which is Goodness and Love.

Continue to look towards the sun in all you do. Do not let the evil in this world overcome your desire to perform good deeds. A small ripple can lead to a wave, either negative or positive.
(When the world has become an evil place, we must call on our righteous Lord.)

Whether we perceive life's circumstances to be good or ill; socially fair or socially unfair; just or unjust; easy or difficult; encouraging or humiliating. The issue is that we were bought with a price and however good or bad we perceive our situation to be, we have been purchased by God.

We are in the world but not of the world and our earthly circumstances should not affect our heavenly calling. No matter what life circumstances throw at us, whether they are easy or difficult; happy or sad, fair or unfair we have a heavenly calling, which is carried out in our earthly walk and irrespective of marriage or singleness; age or abilities; freedom or slavery or any other situation in which we find ourselves. We have a high and heavenly mission and nothing should deflect us from that singular goal - our heavenly calling.
We may be in this world but we are not part of it and should not become entrapped by the philosophies of the world that insist that a change in our circumstances is the answer to our problems.

The answer to every question in life is Christ, for it is only in Him that we have true contentment and lasting joy. The free-man should recognize that he is a bond servant of the Lord, while the slave should rejoice in his freedom in Christ regardless of His chains for we are bought with a price and should not become slaves of men. We were bought with a price - the precious blood of Christ Jesus our Saviour and in Him we have the mind of Christ and should not be influenced by the world's thinking, their philosophies, their mind-set or their world-view.

Jesus was going to prepare a special place for us in His Father’s house. His not only sought to give us every reassurance that His departure would be for the best, but He wanted to nurture an ever-deepening trust in Him and His word, just as they had a trust in His heavenly Father and His word. Because Christ knew that He was shortly to die on the cross to pay the price for our sins and that He was the one and only mediator between God and mankind for no one comes to the Father except through Him.

There is no need to worry, were His reassuring words, "since I'm going away to prepare a place for you in my Father's house, it means that I am going to come back again for you, so that I can welcome you into My presence in glory and then you will be with Me forever''. Christ’s condition for leaving was that He was also returning.

Christ is preparing a heavenly home for all that are His and one day soon He is coming back again to welcome us into His presence, so that where He is we may be also.

Let not Your heart be troubled; Let not My heart be troubled; Let not Our hearts be troubled.
These words were spoken by the One Who was facing the most acute trouble, for He was facing rejection, betrayal, false accusation, an unjust trial, and the weight of the sin of the world on His shoulders, for the Cross lay before the Lord Jesus. He knew that in His own darkest hour, the very face of His beloved Father would be turned away - as He was made sin for Us.

Jesus says to us today, "Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also."

We live in a world that is filled with stresses and strains, and although we are not able to prevent the pressures of life, we have an assurance from the Lord Jesus Christ Himself that because He overcame the world, the flesh, and the devil, we too are overcomers in Him, for this is the victory that has overcome the world even our faith in Christ.
We may be facing some of the darkest days of this world's history, but there will be joy for us as well, on that glorious day when Jesus comes to take us to be with Himself.

Christ reassures His followers that faith in Him is faith in God. To know Christ is to know ''The way, and the truth, and the life'' ( 14:6). The words, actions, and miracles of Jesus should give Christians confidence to trust that He will make good on His promises. Among those are His guarantee that He is preparing to come for us, so we can be where He is. Since Christ knew, in advance, what would happen, we can be even more confident to trust Him.

He is the Hope of our calling, for He has clothed us in His own righteousness and secured for us a heavenly inheritance.! What amazing love has been bestowed on us, that we should be called the children of God, and what an amazing hope we have in Christ, for eye has not seen and ear has not heard the wonderful things that God has prepared for those that love Him.

He is indeed the hope of our calling and He is our blessed hope, for there is laid up for all His children a heavenly inheritance. And when He returns to take us to be with Himself as He has promised, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. Jesus is our blessed hope. Indeed, He is the hope of all the ends of the earth, but those of us who walk in spirit and truth and have our hope fixed on the Lord Jesus Christ are purified in the same way that He is purified. Just as he was identified with our sinfulness, so we are identified with His righteousness and His purity.

Let us hold to this sure hope that is set before us, looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith, knowing that those of us who have our hope fixed on Him purifies ourselves, just as Jesus is pure.
