โ€ŽProving that no task is too big when fueled by spirit of service, the eager and industrious Diocesan Youth Apostolate (DYA) of Saint Justin Maria Russolillo Quasi Parish dedicated another full day of hard work to Brigada Eskwela 2026, successfully wrapping up operations for the final two schools within the parish boundaries.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽLed by their Parish Youth Leader (PYL), the DYA members spent their day revitalizing two local campuses: Dugmanon and Iba Elementary School.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽIn the morning, the members took over chores at Dugmanon Elementary School, helping hang curtains for decoration in one of the classrooms and sweeping away dust and dried leaves from the dirty areas of the school. To cap off the morning shift, the youth helped set up vibrant, colorful buntings, giving the campus a festive welcome.

โ€ŽTransitioning from decorating to heavy lifting, the members moved to Iba Elementary School for their afternoon shift. There, the industrious DYAs helped transport and arrange heavy armchairs in their designated areas. Moreover, they braved the afternoon heat to trim overgrown plants, clear pathways, and sweep clean the remaining dirty school areas.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe initiative brought genuine, sweet smiles to the faculties and staff of both schools. "This is a really good initiative because it really helps a lot," shared one teacher.

โ€ŽThrough this activity, the DYAs of Saint Justin proved that they are always ready to lend a hand to their people. The successful day of service goes down as another one for the book of camaraDAYrie.

The Diocesan Youth Apostolate (DYA) volunteers participated in the Brigada Eskwela at Manikling Elementary School by helping clean the school surroundings. The volunteers worked together in sweeping the school grounds and cutting overgrown grass around the campus. The Brigada Eskwela also strengthened the spirit of volunteerism and teamwork among the youth while supporting the needs of the school.

With delightful hearts and eyes filled with pure bliss, children from 18 different Gagmay'ng Kristohanong Katilingban (GKK) gathered at Saint Justin Maria Russolillo Quasi Parish (SJMRQP) on May 31, 2026 to celebrate the grand culmination of Flores de Mayo alongside BEC Sunday celebration

โ€ŽThe half-day event dedicated to honoring the feast of Mother Mary, kicked off with high energy as children participated in lively parlor games and competitive quiz bees. Resounding cheers and laughter echoed through the venue as the children played, creating a genuine sense of enjoyment among both the young participants and the parents and guardians watching.

โ€ŽFollowing the festivities, the afternoon took a solemn turn as the people united for the praying of the Holy Rosary. During the procession that followed, children lined up in the aisle, wearing pure, solemn white attires and makeshift angel wings. One by one, children proudly carried the letters of 'AVE MARIA' to the altar, accompanied by a solemn and harmonious song.

โ€ŽThe memorable celebration concluded with a Holy Mass, which also marked the observance of Holy Trinity Sunday presided by Rev. Fr. Edmar N. Lapus, SDV.

โ€ŽAdditonally, before the children headed back to their respective homes, generous sponsors gave away small trinkets of school supplies, bringing extra smiles to the young participants just ahead of the upcoming school year.

โ€ŽUltimately, the annual celebration of Flores de Mayo remains very vital for the children. It serves as an avenue to strengthen their faith and help them become more immersed in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church which Christ brought to usโ€”the son of the mother of all, the Blessed Virgin Mary.
