โProving that no task is too big when fueled by spirit of service, the eager and industrious Diocesan Youth Apostolate (DYA) of Saint Justin Maria Russolillo Quasi Parish dedicated another full day of hard work to Brigada Eskwela 2026, successfully wrapping up operations for the final two schools within the parish boundaries.
โ
โLed by their Parish Youth Leader (PYL), the DYA members spent their day revitalizing two local campuses: Dugmanon and Iba Elementary School.
โ
โIn the morning, the members took over chores at Dugmanon Elementary School, helping hang curtains for decoration in one of the classrooms and sweeping away dust and dried leaves from the dirty areas of the school. To cap off the morning shift, the youth helped set up vibrant, colorful buntings, giving the campus a festive welcome.
โ
โTransitioning from decorating to heavy lifting, the members moved to Iba Elementary School for their afternoon shift. There, the industrious DYAs helped transport and arrange heavy armchairs in their designated areas. Moreover, they braved the afternoon heat to trim overgrown plants, clear pathways, and sweep clean the remaining dirty school areas.
โ
โThe initiative brought genuine, sweet smiles to the faculties and staff of both schools. "This is a really good initiative because it really helps a lot," shared one teacher.
โ
โThrough this activity, the DYAs of Saint Justin proved that they are always ready to lend a hand to their people. The successful day of service goes down as another one for the book of camaraDAYrie.
