Today, the CWL Mangatarem distributed 700 food packs to evacuees staying at Mangatarem I Central School. The evacuees came from the flooded barangays of Dorongan Punta, Dorongan Sawat, and Dorongan Ketaket, following the continuous heavy rains.

This simple act of kindness was led by our former CWL President, Madam Belinda Tagorda, together with our current President, Madam Criselda Fernandez. We were also honored by the presence of our beloved Mayor Jensen Viray, who joined us in visiting and checking on the evacuees.

May this small gesture bring comfort and hope to our fellow Mangatarem residents during this difficult time. Together, we can help one another.

A Blessed Beginning

Today, we witnessed a beautiful milestone in the life of our faith community as Mr. Marlon Fernandez and Mrs. Criselda Fernandez officially signed the Deed of Donation for the land where the new Parish of Quetegan, Mangatarem will soon be built.

The occasion became even more meaningful with the celebration of the Holy Mass and the inspiring homily of Most Reverend Napoleon B. Sipalay Jr., D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Alaminos, together with Rev. Fr. Ranie G. Laruan, reminding us that the Church is built not only with bricks and stones but, more importantly, with faith, love, and unity.

With grateful hearts, we thank the Fernandez family for their generosity and love for the Church. Their selfless gift will become a place where families will gather to worship, pray, and grow in faith for generations to come.

May the Lord continue to bless the Fernandez family, Bishop Napoleon B. Sipalay Jr., Rev. Fr. Ranie G. Laruan, and everyone who made this milestone possible. As we begin this new chapter, let us continue to pray and work together in unity as we build a stronger community of faith.

🌱💚 CWL MANGATAREM UNIT MINI VEGETABLE GARDEN 2026 💚🌱

Isang napakagandang umaga ang naging simula ng isang makabuluhang proyekto ng Catholic Women's League (CWL) Mangatarem Unit—ang pagtatatag ng aming Mini Vegetable Garden sa Brgy. Quetegan, Mangatarem, Pangasinan.

Sa pangunguna ng aming masipag at dedikadong Pangulo, Ma'am Criselda Fernandez, matagumpay na naisakatuparan ang proyektong ito sa tulong ng mga miyembro ng CWL at ng aming masisiglang CWL Juniors. Sama-sama naming itinanim ang mga punla ng talong, papaya, sili, at okra, bilang simbolo ng aming pagmamahal sa kalikasan, pangangalaga sa kalusugan, at pagtataguyod ng seguridad sa pagkain ng aming komunidad.

Naging masaya at makabuluhan ang bawat sandali habang nagtutulungan ang bawat isa. Hindi lamang kami nagtanim ng mga gulay, kundi nagtanim din kami ng pagkakaisa, pagtutulungan, pag-asa, at malasakit para sa aming komunidad.

Dalangin namin na ang proyektong ito ay patuloy na mamunga at magsilbing inspirasyon sa iba na magsimula rin ng kanilang sariling munting hardin. Tunay ngang ang simpleng pagtatanim ay malaking hakbang tungo sa mas malusog, mas luntiang, at mas matatag na pamayanan.

On June 5, 2026, the CWL Mangatarem Unit, headed by President Criselda Fernandez, teamed up with the Junior CWL to host a heartwarming outreach event at Buenlag Elementary School.

Under the theme "Isang Lapis, Isang Papel: Maliit na Simula, Malaking Pag-asa," the team brought joy and support to 70 students and 8 faculty members.

The students received essential school supplies, delicious food, drinks, and ice cream to get them excited for the upcoming school year. The 8 dedicated teachers were also treated to food, ice cream, and paper coupons per ream to help ease their printing expenses.It was a wonderful day that brought bright smiles, helped parents save on school costs, and gave the teachers a nice boost before classes start! 🩵🩵🩵

The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) Mangatarem Unit successfully participated in the CWL Philippines, Inc. National Annual Meeting held from May 16–17, 2026, at the Royce Hotel in Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City, Pampanga.

Guided by the inspirational theme, "CWL Pilgrim Bearers of Hope," the delegation was proudly led by President Sis Criselda Fernandez, alongside Past President Sis Maria Belinda Tagorda, 1st Vice President Sis Myrna Puquiz, 2nd Vice President Sis Carmencita Apostol and Sis Cheng Clave.

The event brought together local leaders from across the nation to strengthen their shared devotion, review organizational milestones, and renew their commitment to charity, work, and loyalty.

Induction of the CWL Juniors of St. Raymund of Peñafort Parish in Mangatarem Pangasinan. This solemn event was presided over by Rev. Fr. Bayani M. Liguid. Proceedings were led by Unit President Criselda Fernandez while Marife Cabuang was served as ceremony's commentator.

The highlight of the ceremony was the formal Petition, where the unit’s leadership and new members were presented to the Spiritual Director for official recognition. Under the presidency of Simran M. Jit, the newly inducted executive board—including 1st Vice President Queen Ma. Victoria F. Magno, 2nd Vice President Juira Faith F. Campos, Secretary Marydel Z. Fronda, and Treasurer Queen Sofia Barbara C. Valdez—pledged their service to the Church and the community. Supported by an eleven-member Board of Directors, this induction marks a significant milestone in youth apostolic work within the parish, ensuring the continued growth and legacy of the Catholic Women’s League in the Philippines.

Congratulations to the newly inducted CWL Junior officers and members. We are so proud to all of you for stepping up to serve the church and community. 💙🎉
