"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear..." Psalm 46:1-2

In light of the recent shooting incident in Zamboanga, we are reminded of the fear and brokenness that many of our campuses and young people are facing. These are realities that grieve our hearts, but they also remind us of our need for God.

Now is not the time to retreat. It is the time to stand firm, to carry the hope of the Gospel, and to remind this generation that Jesus is still our hope. Every prayer and every life we point to Christ matters.

Let us pray for Zamboanga, all other schools around the world, the students, and every family affected. May the Lord bring comfort, healing, protection, and peace. 🙏

Let's come together in prayer for our nation. May the Lord protect those impacted by flooding, and guide those who are working to clear remaining floods and aid heavily affected homes. Even amidst these heavy monsoon rains, we can continue to find comfort and strength in the Lord as our refuge.
