FEAST DAY OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA | May 13, 1917
Our Lady of Fatima is the title given to the Virgin Mary after a series of reported apparitions in 1917 in FΓ‘tima.
The Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children:
-Lucia dos Santos
-Francisco Marto
-Jacinta Marto

The children reported receiving three prophetic messages, often called the Three Secrets of Fatima, concerning:
-A vision of hell
-Predictions about war and the spread of communism
-A vision later interpreted by the Catholic Church as relating to persecution of Christians and the suffering of a pope

and to follow your Son, Jesus Christ, with courage and love.
Holy Mother,
you asked for prayer, repentance, and conversion.
Help us to grow in holiness,
to comfort those who suffer,
and to bring hope wherever there is fear or sadness.
Protect our families,
guide the young,
heal the sick,
and lead all people closer to God.
Our Lady of Fatima,
Queen of the Holy Rosary,
pray for us now and at the hour of our death.
