This Sunday, we are reminded that being part of Godโ€™s Kingdom is more than just knowing His Word. It is about having a heart that truly seeks Him and a life that reflects His character.

1. ๐‡๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐†๐จ๐
Do we still hunger for God, or has seeking Him become just an option? Do we still have that excitement to spend time in His presence?

2. ๐‡๐š๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐“๐ซ๐ฎ๐ž ๐–๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก
Are we more focused on earthly riches or on the things that have eternal value?

3. ๐‹๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐จ ๐‹๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐‹๐ข๐ค๐ž ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ
Jesus teaches us to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, and show mercy even when it is difficult.

Let us learn to love and give sincerely, not because of what we can receive, but because we want to reflect Christ.

๐Ž๐ฎ๐ซ ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ž ๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ฌ: As people of the Most High and members of His Kingdom, let us continue to hunger for God and love others unconditionally. May we strive to become more like Jesus in the way we live and treat others.

Todayโ€™s Sunday service reminded me of a few things I really needed to hear.

I was reminded that ๐Ÿ๐š๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ข๐ฌ ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐›๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ข๐ง ๐†๐จ๐โ€™๐ฌ ๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ง๐ฐ๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐ฐ๐ก๐ž๐ง ๐ฅ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐๐จ๐ž๐ฌ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐ฆ๐š๐ค๐ž ๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ๐ž ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ก๐ž๐ง ๐ˆ ๐ž๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ. Like Abraham, I am called to walk with God daily, to obey Him, serve Him, and remain faithful through every season and every trial.

I was also refreshed to remember that salvation and spiritual growth are gifts of grace. They are not something I earn through my performance, good works, or self-righteousness. True faith is simply resting in Jesus and trusting His Lordship. Itโ€™s not about how well I perform; itโ€™s about who Jesus is and what He has already done.

And I was reminded that God is never blind to what Iโ€™m going through, nor is He ever sleeping. He sees my heart, knows my struggles, and is always watching over me. ๐๐ž๐œ๐š๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ, ๐ˆ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐ค๐ž๐ž๐ฉ ๐ ๐จ๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ๐ž, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ, ๐ข๐ง ๐‡๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž, ๐‡๐ž ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ.

At the end of it all, Iโ€™m reminded that I donโ€™t have to understand every season to remain faithful in it. I just need to keep walking with God, resting in His grace, and trusting in His faithfulness.

Todayโ€™s Sundayโ€™s Message from ROMANS 6 reminds me that we have died to sin and should no longer live in it.

In Colossians 3:5, we are told to โ€œ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ก ๐ฐ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฎ๐ฌ,โ€ referring to our sinful desires, which may seem fulfilling at first but afterward leave our hearts void and empty. In reality, our sinful desires never do us any good; instead, they lead us to destruction and bring shame to our lives.

Galatians 2:20 says, โ€œ๐ˆ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐›๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐œ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ข๐ž๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ˆ ๐ง๐จ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž, ๐›๐ฎ๐ญ ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฆ๐ž.โ€ Indeed, when we received Christ as our Lord and Personal Savior, we were crucified along with Christ. We must stop living our lives trapped in the past, continuously reliving our sinful desires. Instead, we must now live our lives in the new identity that Christ Jesus has given us through His sacrifice on the cross, by following His example and the way He lived His life in this world.

๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐š๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ญ ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ, ๐ฌ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ก ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐†๐จ๐.

Romans 6:13 tells us to โ€œ๐จ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐†๐จ๐.โ€ In 2 Corinthians 7:1, Paul told the believers to โ€œ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐›๐จ๐๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ.โ€ This reminds me that sin is a poison to our spirit and contaminates both body and spirit. We are called to live a holy life and offer ourselves to God willingly and wholeheartedly because He loves us and does not want to force us.

We are already dead to sin, but this does not exempt us from experiencing trials and temptations. What matters is how we respond to them. Do we just go with the flow and keep on sinning, or do we fight it by surrendering it to God and resisting it with all our hearts?

Romans 6 reminds us that we are no longer slaves to sin but are called to become slaves to righteousness. Our choices have consequences. Romans 6:23 reminds us, โ€œ๐…๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฐ๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ก, ๐›๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐†๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ฅ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐ข๐ง ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐‹๐จ๐ซ๐.โ€
