𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 | The Sacred Heart Chaplaincy community celebrated Holy Mass in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary as we entered the Month of the Holy Rosary last Friday.

The Mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Pio Makabenta, C.Ss.R. As we also celebrated the Feast of the Guardian Angels, he reminded us in his homily that we have guardian angels, our spiritual security guards, watching over and protecting us.

Following the Mass, RYM - Cebu Chaplaincy launched its month-long Rosary Crusade in the church. The ministry invites the community, especially the youth, to join us in praying the Holy Rosary daily at 6:30 PM in the church.

Let us not forget to always call upon our guardian angels. They’re always ready to guide and protect us in everything!

𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗨 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗮𝘁 𝟯𝟬! | On Thursday, the Redemptorist Province of Cebu celebrates 30 years as a Province at the Redemptorist Retreat House - Holy Family in Nivel Hills, Lahug, Cebu City.

As part of the celebration, the Province’s philanthropic ministry Thredhope was launched. We’re proud that our very own Chaplain and Youth Director, Fr. Pio, is one of the Ambassadors for Mission and Pastoral Care.

The ministry is honored to serve as part of the working committees for this momentous occasion.

𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗙𝗨𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 | After the RYM Cebu Chaplaincy youth mass on Saturday, we continued the night with our monthly Birthkadahan, celebrating our birthday celebrants with songs and greetings.

The night ended on a lovely note with a live acoustic performance from some of our very own youth.

Truly a night full of faith, friendship, and fun!
Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us.

𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗬𝗘𝗦 | Last Saturday, the RYM - Cebu Chaplaincy gathered for our Youth Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Pio Makabenta, C.Ss.R.

In his homily, Fr. Pio reminded us that saying “yes” to God means choosing virtue over vice and letting our words and actions speak together. Our “yes” becomes meaningful when we don’t just say it, but to also live it out.

As we continue our journey as young people of faith, may we always have the courage to say yes to God, not only in the big moments, but also in the little choices we make each day. May our “yes” become a life of love, service, and purpose, and may we inspire one another to keep saying yes to the mission God has entrusted to us.
