Our Protector

Though hardship in life is inevitable, God is our protector and refuge, and He is with us through it all.

Psalms 62:5-8
Have you noticed all the instability in our world today? There is much to fear if we have only ourselves or others to rely on in these troubling times. But God is our Protector, and when we run to Him, we can have peace in the midst of uncertainty. If He is our Rock, then we won’t be shaken by the events in this world or even those in our own life.

The Lord is able to safeguard us in treacherous times. No matter where trouble originates—with others, external circumstances, or our own actions—we can find ourselves in danger and afraid. Thankfully, we have a loving God who leads us to safety.

Now that doesn’t mean the Lord will rescue us from all trouble, but He will walk with us through every painful circumstance.

As we pour out our heart to God and let His Word bring comfort, He will renew our mind, calm our fears, and strengthen our trust in Him.

Do you take refuge in God when circumstances are frightening, or do you watch the news or browse the web looking for hope and reassurance? The world cannot provide the help you seek. Only when the Lord is your stronghold will you remain unshaken.

We have seen many innocent lives were murdered. God said that you shall not murder for anyone who murders will be subject for judgment. And he who hates someone with no sufficient reason is also guilty of murder.

Do good to anyone most especially to those that believe God. And if you cannot do good to them because you have lack of capacity, the least you could is not to harm them.

Praise Report

One night, my stomach was upset. And I just utter a simple prayer. So, I need to get out of bed and drink something. Lo and behold, after 30mins my stomach pain has completely gone.

I really do believe the power of the Holy Spirit living inside of us which Christ Jesus has told us as our helper in times of need. John 14:15

Praise be to God.

HEAVEN ON EARTH

Heaven is a kingdom of God where justice and righteousness rules and all things made right in our midst. A place where believers worship God and fellowship one another where they experience unending joy and peace; free from suffering, pain and sorrow.

Galatians 2:20 says that It is I no longer live but Christ who lives in me and to die is gain. This is not literal or physical death. It is the death of sinful nature of man for him to be born-again created to be like Christ. What was lost? It is the sinful nature which Paul consider as garbage. What are we gaining? It is Christ and of the Spirit of love, power and sound mind and the glory of God in our lives ( 2 Timothy 1:7) Philippians 3:8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ.

Colossians 3:1-4 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Paul was talking to the believers who are not dead, but alive in Christ Jesus. When the body of Christ united in Spirit and live for God, they become the Glorious Body (Church).

Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus.

Paul encourages the believers to set your minds not on earthly things but on things that are above. David also said to the heavenly beings and host who are very much alive to praise and ascribe to the LORD.

1 Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to his name;
worship the Lord in the splendour of his holiness.

Psalm 103:21 Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.

It is a myth that it is okay to suffer sickness and longing to die for them to see Jesus in heaven. People perish like suffering in illnesses because of lack of vision and revelation and miss heaven ( Matthew 13:13-14). Jesus is offering Salvation not tomorrow and not after physical death but it is TODAY. Therefore, the day you accepted him as Lord and Savior, salvation starts to happen in any aspect in life.

Luke 17:21 Jesus said that the kingdom of God is within you and in your midst. Paul always mention to set your hearts and your minds on things above because heart and mind are the inner self. The heavenly beings and hosts are the ones who continually set their hearts and minds on things that are above or heavenly and put these things into practice the things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, things that are of good report; if there be any virtue and of praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8. Let this word sink in your very core and don't let others steal the Word that is sown in your heart.

What is Worship?

Worship is the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration to GOD.

Exodus 23:25 "Worship the Lord your GOD, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span."

How can we worship God?

1. By having a holy reverence of God. When we have holy reverence with God, you avoid sinning and your conscience will tell you to choose good over evil. Our intention and motives comes from within and if its pure and holy, our inner body system will enjoy the good impact in it.

2. By doing good to others which comprises the 3rd until 10 commandments and following the 10 Golden Rule is a way of serving God. Man is made in the likeness of God and Jesus said that whatever you do to others even to the least of your fellow, you did it to him.

3. By singing praising songs. Worshipping through singing are one of the outward expression of our gratitude towards God because of His goodness in our life. Songs are the written words of testimony as thanks offering to GOD.

Warning Against Stealing

Nowadays, we are groaning because our investment are plundered through scams, they borrow goods and money with no intention to pay, high price of commodities, educational and pension plans declared bankcruptcy and so on. All of these are in conjuction with corruption.

People are aware of God's commandment: Do not steal. That is one of the immortal sin mentioned many times in the bible.

The thief was required to pay restitution, often being required to return double and seven fold the amount he had stolen (Exodus 22:1-15 Proverbs 6:30-31).

The consequenses of theft, if they do not serve their sentence for the crime they committed could have serious repercussions that affect the rest of their life.

Psalm 12:5 ‘Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise,’ says the Lord. ‘I will protect them from those who malign them.’

In Matthew 15:19, theft - robbery, scams, corruption - are all categorized as evil or serious crime.

Proverbs 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. 8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

GOD as Holy and Just

Jude 1:7
In a similar way, S***m and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion (tagalog kabaluktutan). They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

Fire is a powerful symbol in the Bible and is often associated with God's presence and power. It is often used to represent
God's judgment and purification.

Jeremiah 23:29
‘Is not my word like fire,’ declares the Lord, ‘and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?

Fire represents as the most difficult circumstances that may result to either be destroyed from it or comes out of it purified from impure way of living like refined gold and silver. It is for the purpose of knowing and living in godliness.

There are literal fire that is happening nowadays everywhere in our country, which maybe accidentally happened and or maybe planned by sinful minds.
2 Peter 3:16
He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

God is holy and just but that does not mean He is pleased that people will perish.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

May we all know and grow in the grace and the knowledge of our LORD GOD our savior..

A Godly Leadership

Mark 10:42 Jesus called them together and said, ‘You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 43 Not so with you (we as believers of God).

God, the Father Almighty is the LORD of Moses and gave him the Ten Commandments carved in stone. That Golden Rule is to be obeyed by the Israelites. It is also used in any government leaders to be followed by the people so that there will be peace, unity and harmony amongst us all.

A great leader is a follower of God first and foremost. He must love God above all and serve the people by that kind of love.

Therefore, when the LORD of lords, King of kings, Father of all fathers is your GOD and LORD, things will be in the right accord.

When God is our LORD, we follow His laws, decrees and stipulations and by doing that, we ourselves follow the laws of this world. We highly esteemed and respect the rulers of this world but not to the extent of compromising what is JUST.

God is our only Sovereign LORD and His dominion and kingdom endures forever.

Be Content

The most epic figure of a character of greed or the love of money is Judas Escariot who handed Jesus to the chief priests in exchange of thirty silver coins. Jesus was being accused, deserted, crucified, mocked and have been hurt and these because of the act of Judas who wanted to be first which motivates him to betray Jesus.

Before Jesus and Judas enter into that scene, it was already instructed in Exodus 23:6 ‘Do not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits. 7 Have nothing to do with a false charge and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty.

There were false testimony charged against Jesus and He didn't even retaliate when put into trial. He entrusted himself to God who judges justly.

This scenario gives us the lesson to be content with whatever you have, either knowlege and material things for the love of money is the root cause of all evil.

Indispensable Love

Matthew 18:9
If your eye causes you to sin, poke it out and throw it away. It would be better to enter the kingdom of heaven with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

The implication of the above verse is not literally tearing out your eye in order to avoid sinning.

Eyes are used for reading, watching and seeing things. Aside from hearing, eyes are used to walk in the right direction.

When we love God, we obey His commandments, same as in agreement of Jesus' command.

Jesus promises the Holy Spirit in agreement with this term:
“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. John 14:16-17

There are verses in the bible or words they hear or see that most people of today twist its whole point of view as what Romans 1:18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness.

Now, if your eye sees on something and your heart and mind think on devising things against someone that does not truly in accordance to the will of God, then you are missing the mark for it contradicts the whole point of His commands to LOVE.

For example, if we read 2 Timothy 2:24-26 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

God called not to use little ones or people who are naive to stumble and sin against us.

If you uses 2 Timothy 2:24-26 by captivating others to obey wrong advise against us to see whether we who are called by God is not quarrelsome, really kind and gives gentle instruction as proven to be God's servant, that's suppressing the truth by wickedness for it twists the very commandments of God which is LOVE. Love includes respecting each other's boundary.

Another example. Proverbs 19:11
A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is man's glory to overlook an offense.

There are people whose mind set on making us upset and angry, waiting for us to stumble and see whether we give in to their wicked schemes which is very wrong as it contradicts the so-called LOVE for God cannot be played by mockery or man's divisiveness.

People thought that its okey to sin against other bcoz its up to the victim whether he'd be bitter or better person. This is a big No. Don't play games at someone else's life.

On the other hand, there are also words whether from mere conversations or you read and heard somewhere that might confuse your thinking. But in all of these, whether its devisiveness from a wicked heart or merely you think differently over something, what matters the most is that we are called by God not to rely on our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge God's will, which is still to LOVE and not to sin.

Love does not delight in evil (such as wickedness and injustice) but rejoices with the truth 1 Corinthians 13:6

This is what God says in Isaiah 55:8 ‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,’ declares the Lord. 9 ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

Salvation comes from no one else, but only through Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, the author and finisher of our faith.

Business Dealings

Deuteronomy 23:19
Do not charge a fellow Israelite interest, whether on money or food or anything else that may earn interest. 20 You may charge a foreigner interest, but not a fellow Israelite, so that the Lord your God may bless you in everything you put your hand to in the land you are entering to possess.

We are educated to deal business according to what is fair for everybody. We cannot engage in business if we don't charge profit as income but we should do it at a reasonable amount, not excessively.

There are also times that you feel that it is not good to charge your customer interest because of his or her difficult situation. We should always look not just for our own interest but for what is in accordance to the situation of others as well.

In verse 20 explains about charging an interest to a foreigner who are rich from another country in an appropriate way or what is right and just because it is not also good to abuse foreigners. But for us Filipinos that belong to a third country going abroad, they should not charge us big interest bcoz we are in need that is working abroad. There should be a proper assessment in every situation.

As a result of dealing business in a proper manner which is required by God so that He may bless you in everything that you do or whatever field you are into.

We pray that we will continue to uphold fairness and kindness in every circumstance.
