๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž | The Children of Mary โ€“ Basak Unit held the Via Crucis at Tabor Hill, Talamban, Cebu City on April 2, 2026. It was a journey of prayer and reflection that allowed us to walk with Christ, meditate on His sacrifices, and renew our faith.

After the Via Crucis, the group participated in the first part of the Easter Triduum โ€” the Washing of the Feet and the Last Supper โ€” at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Fatima, Basak, Mandaue City.

In the evening, the Visita Iglesia took place, where we visited seven different churches and offered prayers:

๐Ÿ“ San Roque Parish, Yati, Liloan

๐Ÿ“ St. Joseph the Husband of Mary Parish, Tayud, Consolacion
๐Ÿ“ Sto. Niรฑo Parish, Paknaan

Through these sacred activities, we were reminded of Christโ€™s love and sacrifice, and we were given the grace to deepen our faith and strengthen our unity in Him. May the devotion and lessons we shared continue to inspire us, and may we bring the spirit of prayer, reflection, and service into our daily lives.

Palm Sunday honors Jesusโ€™ joyful arrival in Jerusalem, inviting us to contemplate a message of hope, humility, and the beginning of the Holy Week journey.

Let this occasion inspire us to embrace Him not just through public praise, but by dedicating our lives to Him in quiet devotion.

Last March 21, the CoM Basak Mandaue Unit participated in the ASOLF-PYCCโ€™s "Creative Prayer Station." It was a powerful reminder that prayer isnโ€™t just wordsโ€”itโ€™s a connection of the heart.

Last Monday, March 2, 2026, the Children of Mary โ€“ Basak Unit were blessed to join the monthly Holy Hour and Taizรจ Prayer at the Don Bosco Provincial House in Talamban, Cebu City, together with the youth from the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Fatima, Basak, Mandaue City.

We are deeply grateful for this opportunity to experience a meaningful time of silence, reflection, and prayer before the Lord. It was a moment to pause, to deepen our relationship with Him, and to strengthen our faith as one community.
