Day 1 | Basic Orientation and Refresher Seminar 2025

We began our day of formation with the Holy Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Faustin Kabosani, CICM.

The sessions flowed with deep learning and faith sharing:
✨ Talk 1: The Creed by Rev. Fr. Faustin Kabosani, CICM
✨ Talk 2: Prayer by Rev. Fr. Faustin Kabosani, CICM
✨ Reflective Sharing on GRACE by Catechist Mael Icalina

The day was also enriched with open discussions, Q&A, and moments of reflection that strengthened our identity and mission as Catechists. 💒

Truly a blessed and fruitful first day of formation! ✨

Earlier today, September 6, 2025, we opened the Basic Orientation and Refresher Seminar 2025 at Holy Family Parish, Maguikay, Mandaue City, with the celebration of the Holy Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Faustin Kabosani, CICM.

In his homily, Fr. Faustin reminded us that Catechists have a vital role in evangelization and in proclaiming the Word of God, especially to children and the youth. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all Catechists for their faithful service in assisting the priests in the mission of the Church, and challenged us to continue doing good and remain steadfast in our vocation. 🙏
