Correction is part of every ministry. Whether you're a worship leader, instrumentalist, tech, or volunteer, feedback will come. And how you respond to correction says more about your character than your talent ever could.
So the question is: ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ฅ๐, ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐?
Here are some reflections on how to develop a teachable spirit and receive correction with grace:

Feedback feels painful at times, but itโs one of Godโs tools to help you grow.
Sabi sa Proverbs 12:1: โWhoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.โ (Sakit di ba, pero totoo.)
If someone corrects you with sincerity, it means they believe in your potential.

Normal lang ma-offend, lalo na kapag passionate ka sa ginagawa mo.
But before you defend yourself, pause.
Ask yourself:

Not every correction is perfectly delivered but a humble heart can still learn from it.

Even if it stung, say thank you.
It doesnโt mean agree ka agad, but it shows you value feedback.
Maturity is seen not in how well you perform, but in how well you receive guidance.

Teachable people donโt stop at โOo nga po.โ
They ask: โAnong pwede kong baguhin?โ
Kung sinabi na late ka lagi, ayusin ang time management.
Kung sabing masyado kang malakas at nakasigaw sa mic, practice volume control.
Ang tunay na growth, may ebidensya.

Kapag nasanay ka nang laging defensive, unti-unti kang hindi na matuturuan.
At kapag hindi ka na matuturuan, hindi ka na lalaki sa calling mo.
God promotes those who remain humble and correctable.
In ministry, we donโt just build songs, we build souls.
And sometimes, ๐๐จ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ฅ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ.
Correction is not something to fear. Itโs something to steward.
