“THE MINISTRY OF PEACE”
A POEM INSPIRED BY 2 CORINTHIANS 5:18
All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;

All this is grace I did not earn,
A love that sought me in return.
When I was lost and far away,
You made a path, You made a way.

You drew me close, restored my soul,
Where sin once reigned, You made me whole.
No longer bound, no longer torn—
In Christ, a new life has been born.

YOU SPOKE OF PEACE WHERE WAR HAD BEEN,
You washed away the stain of sin.
And now this gift You place in me—
A calling wrapped in mercy.

To carry hope to hearts undone,
To speak of what Your love has done.
To be a bridge, to stand, to say:
“Come home to God—there is a way.”

Not by my strength, nor words alone,
But by Your Spirit, gently sown.
A vessel small, yet filled with light,
To lead the lost from dark to sight.

So let my life reflect Your grace,
A mirror of Your warm embrace.
For I was once so far, so torn—
NOW RECONCILED, AND NEWLY BORN. 🌿

PRAYER WORKS

In the darkest hour of the night
During the hardest time of life
When unsure if things will be alright
You should pray!
When your mind lacks peace. And your heart is too broken to beat
When you struggle to stand on your feet
You ought to pray!
When the sun is about to set. And your noontime is filled with tears
When midnight is covered with fear
Wake up and pray!
When the race becomes too long. And you cannot keep going on
When everything seems over. Kneel and pray!

“THE GREAT EXCHANGE”
A POEM INSPIRED BY 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

He knew no sin, no shadowed stain,
No hidden fault, no trace of blame.
Yet bore the weight I could not hold,
A love so deep, a grace untold.

Upon the cross, my debt was laid,
The price of all my wrongs was paid.
My guilt, my shame, my every fall
Was placed on Him—He took it all.

In silence, mercy met my need,
As justice bowed to love’s great deed.
The spotless Lamb, in sorrow crowned,
Took nails for me, stood holy ground.

And in return—what gift divine—
His righteousness now counted mine.
No longer lost, no longer bound,
In Him, redemption now is found.

O wondrous grace, I can’t repay,
Yet walk forgiven day by day.
Clothed not in sin, but heaven’s light,
Made whole in Christ, made pure, made right.

So I will live in humbled awe,
Redeemed not by my works or law—
But by the One who took my place,
And gave me life through boundless grace. 🌿

“STAY ALERT”
🌿 A Poem Inspired by MARK 13:33
Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come.

In quiet hours and busy days,
Beyond the noise, beyond the haze,
A whisper calls within my heart—
“BE ON YOUR GUARD, STAY AWAKE, STAY ALERT.”

When time moves on in silent streams,
And life feels wrapped in passing dreams,
Remind my soul, O Lord above,
To live each breath in watchful love.

Not gripped by fear of what may be,
But anchored in eternity;
For though I know not when You’ll come,
My heart will wait, my spirit strong.

Let not my faith grow dim or weak,
Nor wander far from what I seek;
But keep my eyes upon Your light,
Through every day and every night.

So I will stand, prepared, aware,
With steady hope and faithful prayer;
Until that hour, unknown, unseen—
I’ll walk with You, my heart made keen. 🌿

🌿 “When We Went Our Own Way”
A POEM INSPIRED BY ISAIAH 53:6
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

We wandered far on scattered roads,
With restless hearts and heavy loads.
Like sheep without a guiding hand,
We drifted from the Shepherd’s plan.

Each chose a path that seemed so right,
Yet walked in shadows, not in light.
We turned aside, both bold and blind,
Chasing desires that left us confined.

But in our loss, in silent plea,
Love moved with quiet mercy.
The weight we bore, too great to stand,
Was gathered in the Servant’s hand.

Our wrongs, our fears, our hidden shame,
Were laid on One who never strayed.
He bore it all, the cost, the fall—
A selfless love that covered all.

Now though we roam, we’re not alone,
For grace has called the lost ones home.
The Shepherd seeks, His voice so true—
“I carried all… to rescue you.” 💛

I PRAY FOR THIS GIRL

She might not have a say
But expects the world to be a better place
Whether affluent or impoverished
No matter her state of mind
Her background must not determine
How she is treated in life
She needs to live; she has to thrive!

🌱 “COUNT IT JOY”

COUNT IT JOY WHEN TRIALS APPEAR,
NOT JOY IN HURT, NOR JOY IN LOSS,
BUT JOY IN FAITH THAT BEARS THE CROSS.
FOR JOY IS BORN WHEN HEARTS CAN SEE:
