When Sunday service is over, that's when service really begins.
The Sunday gathering of Christians is for the purpose of you being served by God through worship, so that you can go out and serve the world through action (Ephesians 4:12-16).
Church on Sunday is not the Christian life.
Church on Sunday is what empowers the Christian life.
Show up.
Show up to serve.
Show up to worship.
But don't show up just because you think you're fulfilling your "Christian duty" and can then avoid it the rest of the week.
You worship God on Sunday so that the Holy Spirit can empower you to live like Jesus the other six days of the week.
That's why when Sunday service is over, that's when the real work of you serving the world begins.
To be a Christian is to live the lifestyle of Christ, not to just show up on Sunday.
A Godly lifestyle.
A Christ-like lifestyle.
A Holy Spirit led lifestyle.
Sunday is to refuel for Monday to Saturday, because genuine communion with God produces service for the world.
Come to church so you can go serve the world.
They're waiting for you.
