A pastor is expected to be a preacher, counselor, leader, fundraiser, event planner, conflict resolver, and crisis manager, sometimes all in the same week.
They’re called when someone dies, when a marriage is falling apart, when a family receives a difficult diagnosis, when someone is losing faith, or when a person simply needs someone to pray with.
And after carrying other people’s problems, they still have to prepare a message, lead a team, raise new leaders, meet people, attend important moments, and show up again on Sunday.
Many people only see the sermon. They don’t see the emotional weight behind it.
So to every Filipino pastor in the Philippines and around the world, thank you.
Thank you for the prayers nobody hears, the sacrifices nobody posts about, and the people you continue to serve even when you’re tired.
Your work matters. Your calling matters. And the lives you’re changing matter.
Honor your pastors. Pray for them. Encourage them. Support them. God bless. ❤️
