When does life truly begin? 🤔

A question that is hard to answer for those who are arguing for the decriminalization of abortion here in the Philippines. Through the sexual act, only a single s***m cell out of hundreds of millions of s***m cells will be able to fertilize an egg cell. In an instant, this tiny being becomes a distinct organism, capable of growth and development. The fertilized egg is a new life, a new person.

Each and everyone of us, from that moment, already had our own bodies. We were created, and each one of us was willed into existence. We are persons from the moment of conception.

We are alive—becoming who we are meant to be. We all came from this very beginning. What makes babies in the womb any less deserving of life?

Let us pray for our country to continue upholding the value and dignity of human life. Let us protect one another, especially the voiceless who cannot defend themselves. 🙏
