𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲

The Lasallian Formation Center gathered to join Pope Leo XIV in a Prayer Vigil for Peace. We ask the Risen Lord, The Prince of Peace, to grant us peace with the intercession of Mary, Our Lady of Peace, through the meditation of the most holy rosary.

Today, April 7, we remember the Transitus (passing into eternal life) of St. John Baptist de La Salle. Yet you may notice that in the Church’s liturgy, his feast is not celebrated today.

📖 Why?
Because April 7 falls within the Octave of Easter—the eight days after Easter Sunday when each day is celebrated as a solemnity of the Lord’s Resurrection.

In the Church’s liturgical calendar, the Resurrection of Jesus takes precedence over all other feasts, even those of great saints. This reminds us that every saint—including St. La Salle—finds meaning in the light of Easter.

✨ So what can we do today?
Even if the liturgy is Easter-focused, we can still meaningfully honor the Transitus of St. La Salle:
🙏 Pray – Offer a prayer through his intercession for educators, students, and the Lasallian mission
📖 Reflect – Read his writings or meditate on his life and legacy
💚 Live the mission – Practice acts of service, especially toward the young and the poor
🕯️ Visit and venerate – Spend time in prayer before his relic, entrusting your vocation and intentions

In this Easter season, may we see in St. La Salle a life fully rooted in the Risen Christ, whom he served in the classroom, in community, and in faith.

3. St. Bartholomew the Apostle Parish (Nagcarlan, Laguna)
4. Santuario de La Salle (DLSU-Laguna)

We are truly thankful for the opportunity to facilitate a recollection for the Grade 6 students of the Academe of Donna Christine with the theme “My Heart's Thanksgiving.”

Held on March 18–19, 2026 at La Salle Green Hills, this experience was a beautiful reminder of how God moves in the hearts of the young.

A joyful MPTV session held last March 21, bringing together Aspirants and Postulants from Myanmar, Pakistan, and Vietnam.

Beautifully organized by the Postulants of the Lasallian Formation Center, this gathering became a space of learning, sharing, and growing together in English.

Grateful for the unity, laughter, and meaningful moments we experienced as one Lasallian family.

𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗣 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮 𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟲 (𝟯/𝟯)

On the final day of the Brothers’ Live-In Program, the live-inners were blessed to take part in the Eucharistic Celebration for the First Holy Communion of SBMA students. It was a meaningful opportunity to serve and journey with the children in this special moment of their faith.

They also joined the Culminating Program of SBMA for S.Y. 2025–2026, celebrating the growth and achievements of the students.

𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗣 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮 𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟲 (𝟮/𝟯)

This day was filled with meaningful learning, shared experiences, and moments of connection.

In the morning, the live-inners had a formative session with Br. Marvin Sipin FSC, who shared deeply about the faith of our founder, St. John Baptist De La Salle. This was followed by a lively time of sports with the postulants.

The afternoon continued with enriching sessions on Service and Community led by Br. Vince Fernandez FSC. They also joined the VMO Learning Session on the Apostolate Life of our founder, facilitated by Br. A***n Lopez FSC.

We warmly welcomed our participants to the Brothers’ Live-In Program at the Lasallian Formation Center, a space of encounter, reflection, and discovery.

The journey began with an orientation followed by a grace-filled celebration of the Holy Mass at Santuario de San Jose.

Laughter and stories filled the evening through socials and getting-to-know activities, building bonds of friendship and community.
