God allows us to experience suffering either as a consequence or test of faith. These experiences draw us closer to God by humbling ourselves, learning and obeying his commandments. Thus, this discussion is a great reminder for us that God's commandments are for discernment of good from evil and the wisdom from God. Indeed, the Word proceeding from the mouth of God is more precious than the greatest earthly riches.
