Sometimes children and even parents alike are not expressive when it comes to their internal feelings, but they show them through their actions, silent sacrifices, small gestures, unspoken concern, and the way they continue to care, support, and stay present for one another even in the busiest or hardest moments of life.

Whichever way you choose to express it, just express it. Love and gratitude are always meaningful when sincerely shown.❤️‍🩹💖

To our hardworking parents,
the ones who wake up early and sleep late,
thank you.
Hindi man namin laging nakikita ang pagod ninyo,
every sacrifice whispers love.
Sa bawat pawis at puyat,
naroon ang pangarap ninyo para sa pamilya.
And through it all, you still choose to trust God faithfully.

Mama at Papa,
you taught us that faith is not only spoken inside the church,
but lived every single day at home.
Kapag kulang ang pera ngunit hindi kulang ang panalangin,
kapag mabigat ang problema ngunit matatag pa rin ang pananampalataya—
you showed us what it means to depend on God.
Your life became our first lesson about grace, strength, and hope.

There were days you carried burdens silently,
smiling even when your hearts were tired.
Hindi ninyo hinayaang maramdaman namin ang bigat ng laban ninyo.
Instead, you carried us with patience, discipline, and unconditional love.
At sa bawat “Kaya natin ’to, anak,”
we found courage to keep going.

To all parents,
your labor in the Lord is never wasted.
Every prayer you utter for your children,
every reminder to seek God first,
every act of love done in secret—
nakikita ng Panginoon ang lahat ng iyon.
And one day, the seeds of faith you planted
will bloom beautifully in the lives of your children.

So today, we honor you.
Hindi man sapat ang salita para masuklian ang lahat,
please know that your love shaped us,
your prayers protected us,
and your faith inspired us.
May the Lord strengthen your hearts, renew your strength,
and bless you abundantly.

In Matthew 7:7, Jesus invites us to ask, to seek, and to knock. This verse can be a progressive in the topic of prayer. First, you ask. Second, you seek. And third, you knock. The verse is not teaching that God answer prayer only because we pressure Him enough. Actually, in the "asking" stage, there's already an answer - "ask and it will be given you"

In persistent prayer:

📌 It's not about "forcing God"
- God is not reluctant or unwilling. In the very next verses (Matthew 7:9–11), Jesus compares God to a loving Father.
- A good father doesn't wait until his child begs 100 times before responding.

📌 Persistence shapes us, not God.
- Persistent prayer:
Deepens our faith
and aligns our will with God's will.
- Teaches patience and dependence.
- It transforms the one praying more than it persuades God.

📌 God answers according to His will.
- Scripture also balances this truth.
*For example: John 5:14 says that if we ask according to His will, He hears us.
- So, the key factor is not merely persistence—but relationship and alignment with His will.

So, does God's answer depend on persistence?

ANSWER:
Not in the sense of earning it. Yes in the sense that genuine faith keeps coming to Him and refuses to give up trusting.

"𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐈 𝐀𝐦 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝"

I am broken and falling,
my hands scraped by my own mistakes,
my heart tired from trying to be strong for too long.

I stumble through days unsure of my footing,
wondering how many times I can fall
before I am no longer worth finding.

But You find me anyway.

Not when I am whole,
not when I have the answers,
but right here—mid-fall, mid-fear, mid-doubt.

You love me not despite my brokenness,
but within it.

You call me yours while I am still learning how to stand.

When I lose my way, You do not rush me.
You walk beside me.

When I resist the path You’ve planned,
You wait—patient, steady, unashamed of me.

Your love does not demand perfection,
only trust.

I fall, but You catch.
I wander, but You lead.

And even when I cannot see where the road ends,
I know the One guiding my steps
sees the whole journey.

I am broken and falling,
but I am deeply loved—
and in Your hands,
even my falling becomes part of the way forward.
