This May, we studied the story of "Zacchaeus" in Luke 19:1-10.

Jesus saw beyond Zacchaeus' mistakes and showed him love and acceptance. After meeting Jesus, Zacchaeus experienced a transformed heart, repented of his sins, and chose to make things right. Through this story, we learn that Jesus seeks the lost, forgives those who come to Him, and changes lives for His glory. 🌳🙏🏻

📖 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

This past month of April, the Sunday School Children’s Department studied the story of “The Prodigal Son’s Feast” from Luke 15:11-32. We learned the importance of admitting our mistakes, turning back to God, and experiencing His forgiveness, love, and joy when we come home to Him. 🤍

We also had our activity, where the children learned Jesus’ resurrection through the “My Risen Savior: Light of the World” lantern craft activity. ✨

📖For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.

Last March, the Sunday School Children's Department studied the story of “Breakfast with the Risen Jesus” in John 21:1-14. The children learned that Jesus never leaves His people and continues to provide, guide, and care for them. 🌿

📖 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

This February, we studied the story of “The Last Supper” in Matthew 26:17–30 during Sunday School.

Jesus shared the bread and w**e as symbols of His body and blood, preparing His disciples for His sacrifice on the cross. Through His death, He paid for our sins and overcame the death brought by sin (Romans 5:12–21). 🍞🍷

I. Jesus Died for Our Sins.
II. Forgiveness Through Jesus' Sacrifice.
III. Remembering Jesus' Sacrifice.

📖 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
1 Corinthians 11:24 KJV

“A Sweet Treat: I Have A Friend in Jesus"🍪💝

The sweetest gift of all is having a true friend in Jesus, a friend who loves us more than anyone else. 🥰🍬

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

✨New Year, New Lessons✨

“Meals and Messages: Tasting God’s Goodness Through the Bible”

📖O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Psalm 34:8 KJV

This January, we explored the story of Adam and Eve and the problem of sin, which helped the children gain a deeper understanding of how sin entered the world.

📖Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 5:12 KJV
