The blueprint is set, and we are sent forth! A historic and unifying morning for the diocese as the Executive Committee and representatives from all vicariates came together to formally agree upon and finalize the updated Organization Manual. After three days of deep discernment and strategic calendaring for 2026-2027, our mission sending empowers us to return to our parishes with a unified vision. As outlined in our Focus Pro Max, we commit to absolute accountability, transparency, and truth in our digital apostolate. Let's get to work!

From reactive support to a proactive force! Day 2 centered on a vital milestone for our structural sustainability: the rigorous review and revision of the DCSC Organization Manual. Transitioning from the 2022 version to the new 2026 edition, our vicarial leaders and committees gathered at the common table of discernment to share grassroots feedback and align our guidelines with our current pastoral realities. We are building a sustainable media ministry that truly lasts!

Before entering the battleground of discussion and planning, we must first seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Day 1 of FOCUS PRO MAX 2026 began by hitting pause β€” a sacred moment to retreat, pray, and deeply reflect on the digital mission entrusted to us by the Lord. Facilitated by Rev. Fr. Joseph Franz Dizon, our spiritual retreat and Holy Hour reminded us that before we can authentically evangelize online, we must first renew our hearts offline.

Proclaiming holiness; holiness in proclamation!

"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God..." β€” Matthew 16:16, 18

As we wrap up our grace-filled 3-day retreat, evaluation, and planning for the Diocesan Commission on Social Communications, our hearts echo the profound awe of today’s second reading: "O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!" (Romans 11:33).

Just as Jesus posed the vital question at Caesarea Philippi β€” "Who do you say that I am?" β€” our time in retreat challenged us to deeply anchor our digital ministry, creative works, and messages in that exact rock-solid confession. Communicating the Gospel today means proclaiming Christ not just with strategies and media tools, but with an authentic encounter of the living God.

This incredible journey wouldn't have been possible without grace, teamwork, and generosity. A massive, heartfelt thank you to our visionary delegates, our supportive sponsors, and our tireless staff who made FOCUS PRO MAX 2026 an overwhelming success! God has entrusted us with the keys to build up His digital community, and your hands have helped lay a firm foundation.
Let us continue to lift our voices in praise: "Lord, your love is eternal; do not forsake the work of your hands." (Psalm 138:8)

'Til next FOCUS PRO MAX as we proclaim holiness, so we may be holy in our proclamation!

β€œGo, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.” β€” Matthew 28:19

With grateful and joyful hearts, the community welcomes the newly appointed and re-appointed Vicarial Coordinators and members of the Executive Committee (EXECOM) of the Diocesan Commission on Social Communication.

Their commissioning and blessing were led by Rev. Fr. John Paul Jickain and Rev. Fr. Joseph Franz Dizon, entrusting their new mission and ministry to the grace and guidance of the Lord.

As they begin this new chapter of service, may they continue to proclaim the Gospel through the gifts of communication, guided by faith, unity, and a genuine spirit of service to the Church and her people.
