-An ambassador is a person who represents a king or a nation in another country.
What is my role as an Ambassador?
1. IโM A REPRESENTATIVE OF JESUS
-2 Timothy 1:9
โCalled usโ
Romans 1:7 called to be His people;
John 15 called to be Godโs friend.
1 Corinthians 1; called to be holy and called to fellowship.
2 Corinthians 5; called to speak for Christ;
Galatians 5; called to serve each other;
Colossians 3 called to live in peace;
Romans 8:28-29 to be like Jesus for Godโs purpose;
1 Peter 2 called to suffer for Him;
1 Peter 3 called to bless those who curse us.
1 Timothy 1 called to eternal life;
2 Thessalonians 2 called to share his glory.

-Ephesians 4:1
2. IโVE BEEN GIVEN A MISSION
-John 17:18
-Acts 20:24
-2 Timothy 4:7

3. IโVE BEEN GIVEN AUTHORITY TO SPEAK
-Matthew 28:18-20
-โplenipotentiaryโ Latin phrase is a person, usually a diplomat, who has been given full power and authority to act and make decisions on behalf of their government. (full power)
-The Lighthouse
Imagine a ship caught in a dark storm. The sailors cannot see the shore. They donโt need the lighthouse to become a ship. They donโt need the lighthouse to sail the ship. They simply need the lighthouse to shine.
The lighthouse doesnโt remove the storm.
It doesnโt control the waves.
It simply gives light so the sailors can find their way.
Thatโs what Christโs ambassadors do.
We donโt have to fix the whole world.
We are called to
shine the light of Christ.
4. I SERVE IN A FOREIGN CULTURE

Conclusion:
WHO ARE YOU REPRESENTING?
Every day, we represent something.
Our family. Our organization. Our church.
Our values.
But as believers, we have a greater responsibility:
WE REPRESENT JESUS CHRIST.
Paul did not say:
โWe are ambassadors for ourselves.โ
He said:
โWe are ambassadors for Christ.โ
God has sent us.
God has given us a message.
God has given us His authority.
Challenge:
-When people encounter you, do they encounter something of Jesus?
-When you speak, do your words represent Him?
-When you serve, do your actions represent Him?
-When you face opposition, does your response represent Him?
-When you have an opportunity to share the Gospel, do you represent Him?
You are Christโs ambassador.
-So go where He sends you.
-Speak what He commands you.
-Live as He calls you to live.
-Love as He loved.
-And point people to the GOD.

You may be the only representative of Jesus that someone encounters today. Represent Him well.
