WATER BAPTISM - August 28, 2023
ROMA 6:1-8
Ang Bagong Buhay kay Cristo
6 Ano ngayon ang masasabi natin? Magpapatuloy ba tayo sa kasalanan para lalong madagdagan ang biyaya ng Dios sa atin? 2 Aba, hindi maaari! Hindi maaari na magpatuloy pa tayo sa pagkakasala dahil ang kasalanan ay wala ng kapangyarihan sa atin. 3 Hindi ba ninyo alam na noong binautismuhan tayo kay Jesu-Cristo, nangangahulugan ito na kasama tayo sa kanyang kamatayan? 4 Kaya noong binautismuhan tayo, namatay tayo at inilibing na kasama niya. Kung paanong binuhay muli si Cristo sa pamamagitan ng dakilang kapangyarihan ng Ama, tayo rin ay mamuhay sa bagong buhay.
5 At kung nakasama tayo sa kanyang kamatayan, tiyak na mabubuhay tayong muli tulad ng muli niyang pagkabuhay. 6 Alam natin na ang dati nating pagkatao ay ipinako na sa krus kasama ni Cristo para mamatay, kaya hindi na tayo dapat alipinin pa ng kasalanan. 7 Sapagkat ang taong patay na ay malaya na sa kasalanan. 8 At kung namatay tayong kasama ni Cristo, naniniwala tayong mabubuhay din tayong kasama niya.
