The Diocese of Bataan and Bulacan actively participated in the Second Regional Youth Convention of South Central Luzon of the Youth of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (YIFI), held last February 6โ8, 2026, at the Pro-Cathedral of St. Philip and St. James in Lagonoy, Camarines Sur, under the Diocese of MaQueBaCa.
Centered on the theme โAffirming our heritage, steadfast in the faith, journeying with all Creationโ (John 10:16), with the sub-theme โReady to follow in the footsteps of Jesus,โ the convention became a meaningful gathering of young people committed to faith, service, and unity. Through worship, workshops, and fellowship, participants were encouraged to live out their Christian calling while honoring the rich heritage of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente.
Youth delegates from YIFI National Cathedral, YIFI Rizal and Pampanga, YIFI Odiongan, YIFI Masbate, YIFI Cavite, YIFI Bataan and Bulacan, YIFI Laguna, YIFI MaQueBaCa, and the Regional Youth Executive Council (RYEC) came together in solidarity and shared mission.
