CULMINATING ACTIVITIES FOR SUMMER CATECHESIS

Filled with joy, faith, and gratitude, the children who participated in this year’s Summer Catechesis gathered for the culmination of their catechetical journey. Through prayers, songs, activities, and learning sessions, they deepened their love for God and strengthened their faith as young members of the Church.

May the lessons they have learned continue to guide them in living a Christ-centered life. We thank all the catechists, volunteers, parents, and supporters who generously shared their time and service for the success of this meaningful activity.

As the Church joyfully celebrates Pentecost Sunday, the faithful gathered in prayer and thanksgiving during the Anticipated Mass, commemorating the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the Church.

Pentecost reminds us of God’s abiding presence through the Holy Spirit — the source of wisdom, courage, unity, and renewal in our Christian life. May this sacred celebration inspire every faithful to become instruments of peace, love, and service, strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

PRAY FOR THE PHILIPPINES | CBCP issues “A Nation’s Prayer for Enlightenment, Conversion and Renewal,” with approved translations in Tagalog, Bicolano, Binisaya, Ilocano and Ilonggo, following approval during the CBCP Permanent Council meeting on May 20, 2026.

The CBCP Permanent Council said the prayer will be recited beginning Pentecost Sunday and continuing at least through July, according to the CBCP General Secretariat.

Let us pray for our beloved country that amidst every challenge and uncertainty, we may remain united in faith, hope, and love for one another.

May the Lord protect the Filipino people, comfort those who are suffering, guide our leaders with wisdom, and strengthen every Filipino with courage and compassion.

May peace, healing, and grace prevail throughout our nation.

ASCENSION SUNDAY | PAGBISITA KATON NI NUESTRO PADRE JESUS NAZARENO

This year marks the 4th Dalaw of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno de Quiapo in the Province of Aklan—an extraordinary moment of grace, devotion, and unity for the faithful.

The Holy Mass was solemnly presided over by Rev. Fr. Paul Vincent G. Licayan, JD, Parochial Vicar, together with our former Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Herminio “Junjun” Q. Felipe, Jr., who led the community in a heartfelt Eucharistic celebration filled with reverence, unity, and hope as we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord.
