43RD DIOCESAN YOUTH MARIAN PILGRIMAGE. The Bishop of Legazpi, through the Diocesan Commission on Youth, invites all parishes, schools, and youth movements to the 43rd Diocesan Youth Marian Pilgrimage (DYMP) on October 3, 2026 (Saturday), 4:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

With the theme “Young Hearts Aflame Like Mary: Blessed, Nurtured, and Sent Forth,” which invites the youth of our Diocese to reflect on Mary’s generous response to God’s grace.

The pilgrimage will take the traditional route from St. Carlo Acutis Quasi-Parish, Brgy. Naga, Tiwi, to the Parish and Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Salvation, Brgy. Joroan, Tiwi.

In preparation, a Facilitators’ Seminar Workshop will be held on September 2, 2026 (Wednesday), at St. Gregory the Great Minor Seminary, Panal, Tabaco City, 8:00 a.m. Parishes and schools are encouraged to send at least two (2) youth representatives.

We encourage our youth to participate wholeheartedly in this pilgrimage as Missionary Pilgrims, giving thanks for seventy-five years of God’s faithfulness to our Diocese and celebrating two hundred fifty years of devotion to Our Lady of Salvation.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Earlier today, the Parish Youth Commission of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Malilipot, Albay gathered for a meeting to discuss important concerns, evaluate previous activities, and prepare for the upcoming events of the youth ministry.

Part of the discussion was the evaluation of the Run for a Mission: Color Fun Run 2026, which was held last July 11, 2026. The members reflected on the experiences, accomplishments, and areas that can still be improved as we continue strengthening our parish youth activities.

The meeting also focused on the preparations and concerns regarding the upcoming Diocesan Youth Marian Pilgrimage and the World Youth Day (WYD) in Korea, giving the youth an opportunity to prepare not only for the activities themselves but also for the mission and responsibility that come with participating in these gatherings.

Every meeting is more than simply discussing plans and schedules. It is an opportunity for the youth to listen to one another, share ideas, evaluate their experiences, and work together toward one common mission to serve God, His Church, and the parish community.

As we continue moving forward, may every plan and activity become an opportunity for our young people to grow in faith, strengthen their fellowship, and discover more deeply their mission as young disciples of Christ.

[ 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 ] Today, the Church joyfully celebrates the 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱, commemorating the moment when Jesus revealed His divine glory to Peter, James, and John on the holy mountain. His face shone like the sun, and His garments became dazzling white, allowing the disciples to glimpse the glory of the Son of God.

The Transfiguration reminds us that beyond every cross, every trial, and every suffering, the glory of Christ awaits. Before His Passion, Jesus revealed His divine splendor to strengthen the faith of His disciples, preparing them for the challenges that lay ahead. It is a beautiful reminder that God never abandons His people and that His light continues to shine even in the darkest moments of our lives.

Standing before the radiant Christ, Peter, James, and John witnessed not a glory meant to impress the crowds, but a glory revealed in prayer, silence, and intimate communion with God. They learned that true greatness is found not in earthly power but in humble obedience to the Father's will.

The voice of the Father proclaimed, "𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐧, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐦 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝; 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐦." These words continue to echo in the life of the Church today, inviting us to place Christ at the center of our lives and to follow His teachings faithfully.

As we celebrate this sacred feast, may we allow the Lord to transform our hearts through His grace. May our faith be strengthened, our hope renewed, and our love for God deepened. Like the disciples, may we learn to recognize Christ's presence not only in moments of glory but also in the ordinary moments of daily life, trusting that He is continually leading us toward the joy of His Kingdom.

May the light of the Transfigured Christ shine in our hearts and inspire us to become witnesses of His love, hope, and mercy in the world.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the birthday of one of our dedicated Youth Members, whose presence and willingness to serve continue to bring life and inspiration to our community. Your dedication and active participation in the ministry are truly appreciated and valued by everyone around you.

Your commitment reminds us that every young person has a unique role in building a stronger and more faith-filled community. Through your enthusiasm and generous heart, you continue to encourage others to serve the Lord with joy and sincerity.

As you celebrate this special day, we pray that you will continue to grow in faith, wisdom, and love. May you never lose your passion for participating in our Youth Ministry, and may you always find joy and purpose in serving God alongside your fellow youth.

‎On this special day, we also celebrate Priests' Day, giving thanks to God for the gift of the priesthood and for the men who have answered His call to shepherd His people. Through their ministry, we receive the Eucharist, the Sacraments, the Word of God, and the loving care of Christ, the Good Shepherd.
‎
‎Thank you, Fathers, for your faithful service, spiritual guidance, and tireless dedication to our parish community. Your lives of sacrifice, prayer, and pastoral care continue to lead us closer to Christ and inspire us to live our faith with joy and commitment.
