ALIVE. LIVING. LIFE-GIVING.

The MJRH Staff Monthly Mass was also an opportunity for formation through an inspiring input given by Fr. Cosme Carlo Lacang, SJ, the House Director.

The reflection focused on the theme “Alive. Living. Life-Giving,” inviting the staff to deepen their understanding of what it means to live a meaningful and purposeful life. Fr. Carlo reminded everyone that authentic living goes beyond merely existing; it is about embracing one’s vocation, nurturing personal growth, and becoming instruments of God’s love and compassion.

The input encouraged the staff to strive to be life-giving individuals by sharing their gifts, extending kindness, offering support, and serving others with generosity and joy. It was a meaningful reminder that our words, actions, and presence have the power to bring hope, inspiration, and new life to those around us.

May this reflection continue to inspire the MJRH staff to live fully, love generously, and become channels of God’s life-giving grace in their daily mission and service.

Another meaningful part of the 30-Day Ignatian Retreat is the Day of Repose—a sacred pause from the intensity of daily prayer and silence. These moments of rest allow retreatants to renew their minds, bodies, and spirits, helping them continue their retreat journey with deeper gratitude and openness to God's grace.

Our seven retreatants—Fr. Mar, Rev. Kent, Rev. John Mark, Bro. Arche, Bro. Raymund, Bro. Jerson, and Sir Noy—shared these special moments of repose with their retreat directors, Fr. Mat Sanchez, SJ and Fr. Tom Sherman, SJ.
