Abbot Denis was Abbot President of the Subiaco - Cassinese Congregation from 1980-1988. It was during his reign that our monastery was granted canonical status. He also was with the Papal Nuncio to the Philippines, Most Rev. Fr. Bruno Torpigliani, DD when our Monastery Church was solemnly blessed and inaugurated on August 6, 1983.

Our Abbey Museum just had a successful book launch of a Coffee Table Book of the portraits by one of Bukidnon’s fine artist Vic Barretto authored by our very own Dom Martin de Jesus Gomez, OSB. The book is entitled “Recuerdos”. The occasion was graced by the presence of our Prior, Dom Symeon Ma. Gomez, OSB; Abbey Oblates; Friends and Benefactors.
