“Communion in Action”
March 21, 2026

Global Youth Day 2026, with the theme “Communion in Action,” was meaningfully observed as a day dedicated to service, unity, and the sharing of God’s love. This special occasion highlighted the vital role of the youth in becoming instruments of compassion and hope within their communities.

Through collective effort and a shared sense of purpose, the youth demonstrated that serving others is a powerful expression of faith. By reaching out and extending kindness, they were able to bring light into the lives of those in need. Such acts of service are made possible when young people come together in unity, guided by a common mission to reflect God’s love in action.

In line with this, the Boracay youth actively participated by offering songs of praise and providing tangible support to our brethren in Barangay Yapak, particularly those residing in Arcibal Compound 1 and 2. Their visit was not only an act of generosity but also a heartfelt effort to uplift spirits, strengthen faith, and foster a deeper sense of community.

This initiative serves as a foundation for building stronger connections with individuals who are open and eager to listen, learn, and accept God as their personal Savior. It is a testament to the enduring impact of youth-led outreach and the importance of nurturing spiritual growth through meaningful engagement.

Romans 10:14-15: "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

The atmosphere in Cagban, Bobon, on the beautiful Boracay Island, was filled with a sense of hope and spiritual awakening during the recent crusade. Led by the dedicated Pastor Jay Evangelio, the program served as a beacon, illuminating the profound teachings of the Word of God for the eager community members who gathered. The air crackled with anticipation as Pastor Jay shared messages of faith, love, and guidance, creating an uplifting experience that resonated deeply within the hearts of those present.
Beyond the spiritual nourishment, the organizers extended a hand of practical support and fellowship. Following the inspiring program, a tangible expression of care was offered to each attendee – a simple token and nourishing food, a gesture that spoke volumes of compassion and solidarity. These acts of kindness fostered a warm and connected atmosphere, reinforcing the sense of community and shared humanity.
As the crusade drew to a close on its final evening, the spirit of generosity continued to shine brightly. The distribution of grocery supplies provided practical assistance to the families, ensuring they would have sustenance in the days ahead. Accompanied by more food, this final act left a lasting impression of care and support, a testament to the genuine spirit of the event.The culmination of the crusade was marked by radiant smiles that adorned the faces of the attendees. These smiles were not merely expressions of gratitude for the material provisions; they reflected a deeper joy, a sense of spiritual fulfillment, and the warmth of a community united in faith and fellowship.
The successful conclusion of the program, leaving such positive emotions in its wake, stands as a powerful testament to the impact of collective spiritual engagement and heartfelt generosity within the vibrant community of Cagban, Bobon, Boracay Island.

Psalm 78:4: "We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done."

The vibrant energy of Boracay youth shone brightly as they gathered the children for a heartwarming session dedicated to praising God. The air was filled with youthful voices joyfully singing songs of worship, creating a harmonious atmosphere of faith and togetherness. Beyond the melodies, the young leaders thoughtfully engaged the children in creative activities, such as drawing interpretations of God's magnificent creation and the boundless love He holds for everyone. These artistic expressions allowed the children to connect with spiritual concepts in a tangible and personal way.
The Boracay youth also shared important Bible verses with the children. They explained why these verses are very important. This helped the kids understand how the words could guide them. The children were clearly happy and enjoyed learning about God in this fun way. This effort hopes to help the children grow up with good character and build a stronger community in Boracay.

GLOBAL YOUTH DAY
Theme: "A Community Transformed"

Romans 12:2 - "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

True change happens through faith in Jesus Christ. Tranformation within community by spiritual changes is often driven by collective faith, divine guidance, and perseverance. Transformation serves as an inspiration for other struggling communities, proving that when people place their trust in God and work together miracle can happen.

The Boracay district came together, united in their goal to reach out to the community. They accomplished this by distributing grocery supplies to meet the community's needs, with Bible verses attached to each package. Additionally, the group performed a song and offered a prayer, aiming to inspire hope and remind everyone of God's unwavering love.
