Salamat Word of Hope Gensan!

Beth Shalom Family Worship would like to sincerely thank Word of Hope General Santos for extending their Medical Mission to our church last May 1, 2026, held here at Beth Shalom.

Through this outreach, over 30 boys received free circumcision, around 40 individuals were served with medical assistance, and free medicines and haircut services were also provided.

We also thank all the church volunteers of Beth Shalom Family Worship for their hard work and support in making this ministry possible. Also thanks to the fresh nursing grads of ACC for their extended help!

To God be the glory for the lives touched through this mission.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2026: A JOYFUL SUCCESS ACROSS BORACAY!

Manocmanoc, Boracay was filled with laughter, songs, Bible stories, and excited little footsteps as this year’s Vacation Bible School was successfully conducted in three different venues — Beth Shalom Family Center, Cagban Bubon, and Nature Spring Babaw!

This meaningful outreach was spearheaded
by the passionate young people of Youth Alive Boracay, with the VBS Coordinator Tita Belle Pano.

Special commendation is also due to Tita Amadeline Pano-Gregorio and Ate Karen Faith Martinico for their invaluable support, tireless service, and motherly care throughout the entire program.

More than 70 children from the three venues joyfully participated in the week-long Bible learning adventure—engaging in worship songs, memory verses, crafts, games, and lessons that introduced them to Jesus in fun and unforgettable ways.

The celebration continued last Sunday with volunteer appreciation in the morning service, and then the VBS Graduation Ceremony that was held at Beth Shalom Family Center at 3:00 in the afternoon. The place was once again filled with smiles and excitement as the children enjoyed fun games, special surprises, and heartfelt recognition for their participation.

Certificates were awarded to every child, along with special awards to celebrate their enthusiasm, attendance, and achievements during the VBS sessions.

And just when everyone thought the fun was over—it was only getting better!
Following the graduation was the much-awaited VBS Kids Fair, where the church grounds transformed into a mini children’s festival! Colorful tables were set up featuring:
🎈 Balloons
🍿 Popcorn
🍔 Burgers
🎁 Gift Packs

🍦 And every child’s all-time favorite… ICE CREAM!
Indeed, it was an afternoon filled not only with fun and laughter, but with the tangible love of God expressed through the generosity and teamwork of His people.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer, teacher, youth volunteers, sponsor, and church member who contributed financially and offered their time and strength to make this event possible.
Because of your partnership, seeds of God’s Word were planted in the hearts of many children.
To God be all the glory for a fruitful and unforgettable Vacation Bible School!

Blessed Sunday!

Many of us start with a borrowed faith—one that relies on the traditions of our parents, the words of a pastor, or the rituals of a church. It is "second-hand" belief.
But to make faith your own, you must have a personal encounter with Jesus.

Faith becomes yours when you stop watching from the sidelines and start seeking Him for yourself.

Like the Samaritan woman who left her water jar behind, to surrender means to leave your old life and priorities at the feet of the Messiah.

The Holy Spirit speaks to us individually, changing us from the inside out.

Don’t just follow the crowd to the well. Stay at the well until you meet the Man who gives the Living Water. Only then is the faith truly yours. 🏺✨

Thank you, Pastor Herman, for continuing to share this powerful message of faith. It is truly striking our hearts and calling us to a deeper place of owning our faith!
