We all have a version of ourselves that we carry around—the version shaped by what happened to us, what people said about us, and sometimes, even by our own mistakes.

But what if that’s not how God sees us?

“How Does God See Me?” became more than a question. It became a reminder that our worst season doesn’t get to decide who we are.

People may remember the mistake.
God sees the restoration.
People may see the present.
God sees what He is forming.

You don’t have to be finished to be loved. You don’t have to be perfect to be used by God. God is still working on His workmanship.

And through the bread and the cup, we remembered the One who sees us completely and still gave Himself for us.

His body was broken.
His blood was shed.
His grace speaks a better word over us.

The world says, “Become somebody.”
The Gospel says, “Become like Christ.”

So this week, when the voices around you get loud, go back to what God says about you. Open His Word. Talk to Him. And let His voice become the mirror you look into.

Tomorrow, let’s gather with hearts ready to worship, receive, and be reminded that what God is doing in us was never meant to stop with us.

And maybe while you’re thinking about who needs to hear the message, God is already putting one name on your heart.

Bring them. Pray for them. Reach for them.

Come expecting—not just to receive, but to be sent.
Your one could be someone’s answered prayer.

"Who told you that"

Not every thought that enters your mind deserves a place in your heart. Sometimes, a lie gets repeated so many times that we start believing it—and eventually, we start living like it’s true.

But what people said about you cannot rewrite what God has spoken over you. Your failures cannot become your identity. Your past cannot have the final word.

The enemy may speak a lie, but God’s Word speaks truth. And His truth is greater than the lie.

So before you agree with that thought, ask:
Is it true? Does it agree with God’s Word? Where will it take me?

Let God’s voice be louder than every voice that has been trying to define you.

The biggest thing that needs to change is not our situation, but the way we see.

Rejection, failure, shame, comparison, and even the opinions of others can become lenses through which we see ourselves. But those things were never meant to define us.

Before the world gave us a label, God had already spoken identity over us. We were created in His image, intentionally and with purpose.

And through Jesus, the veil is removed. We can see Him clearly, see ourselves correctly, and see the purpose He has placed in us.

When you see differently, you live differently.

So the question is: What have you been seeing through the wrong lens?

May we learn to see ourselves the way God sees us.

You can get used to the dark. But you were never meant to stay there.

Last Saturday, we talked about the darkness we sometimes learn to live with:

“I’m fine.”
“Ganito talaga ako.”
“Bahala na.”
“I can handle it on my own.”
“I don’t need God right now.”

Sometimes, the darkness becomes so familiar that we stop looking for the light.

But Jesus doesn’t call us to hide in the dark. He calls us into the Light.

Walking in the Light doesn’t mean having a perfect life. It means being honest, surrendering what we’ve been hiding, and choosing to follow Jesus even when it’s uncomfortable.

Because Jesus is the Light of the world. And the darkness has never been able to overcome Him.

So don’t hide.
Come into the Light. Walk in the Light. Follow Jesus.
