Noong March 26, 2026 araw ng Huwebes, isisnagawa ang Vicariate Stations of the Cross sa ating parokya Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito, nagkaisa ang mga tagapaglingkod sa dambana upang magnilay sa Pagpapakasakit, Pagkamatay, at Muling Pagkabuhay ng ating Panginoong Hesukristo. Isang paglalakbay ng pananampalataya at pagpapakumbaba.

Apatnapung taon na ang lumipas mula nang tumindig ang taumbayan—hindi sa dahas, kundi sa panalangin, pagkakaisa, at tapang ng konsensya.

Ang demokrasya ay work in progress; may sugat pa ang bayan, pero hindi tayo tinatawag na mawalan ng pag-asa.

Ang tunay na people power ay pang-araw-araw na pagpili ng tama.

Tara na sa pangatlong Trillion Peso March at ipagdiwang ang 40th anniversary ng EDSA People Power Revolution! Alalahanin ang mapayapang pagtindig ng mga Pilipino na nagpabagsak ng diktaduryang Marcos.

Matapos ang apat na dekada, muli nating ipamalas ang ating people power para labanan ang korapsyon at dinastiya! Kitakits!

Sa tuwing sasapit ang Oktubre, hindi lamang ang mga tagumpay ng Banal na Rosaryo ang ating ipinagdiriwang, bagkus, tayo ay naghahanda rin para sa pag-alala natin sa ating mga mahal sa buhay na yumao na.

Kaya naman, kayo ay aming hinihikayat na makiisa sa gaganaping 'fund raising project' ng Ministry of Altar Servers, ang "𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐒𝐀 𝐘𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐋".

Ang mga kandila ay magtataglay ng pangalan ng ating yumaong mahal sa buhay na nais nating idalangin. Ang bawat kandila ay nagkakahalaga ng 𝐏𝐡𝐩. 𝟏𝟎𝟎.𝟎𝟎. Ang mga kandila ay iipunin muna sa maliit na altar na ilalagay sa ating simbahan. Ang mga ito ay babasbasan at ipapamigay sa 𝑶𝒌𝒕𝒖𝒃𝒓𝒆 31 𝒔𝒂 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒂 𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒌𝒂-6 𝒏𝒈 𝒈𝒂𝒃𝒊. Matapos ang pagbabasbas ay maaari na itong iuwi ng may-ari upang magamit sa darating na Undas.

Ang pondong malilikom sa proyektong ito ay gagamitin sa 𝒑𝒂𝒈𝒑𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒘𝒂 𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒂𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒈 '𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒆' ng ating mga sakristan.

Halina't alalahanin ng ating mga yumaong minamahal, sa isang simple ngunit taimtim na paraan.

For the past few days now we have been experiencing terrible calamities: typhoons, volcanic eruptions, fires, and earthquakes—one after another! Let us beg the Lord's mercy on our people.

Let us reiterate our invitation for our people to turn again to God with humble and contrite hearts. Let us reiterate our recently released National Call to Prayer and Public Repentance, asking our people to observe it every Sunday-and, where possible, every day-until the Solemnity of Christ the King, with the tolling of bells.

Let it be our collective Miserere, our plea for mercy and renewal as a nation.

Following the beautiful suggestion of Bishop Jimmy Afable, we encourage our faithful:

✔️ to wear white clothes every Sunday of October and November,
✔️ and to display white ribbons in homes, churches, and public places - as a sign of our desire for transparency, accountability, and good governance, and as a humble prayer that our nation may be washed clean and renewed in God's mercy, and spared of further calamities.

Let our white garments be a symbol of the purity we seek for our land and our hearts. May this season of prayer and repentance lead us to hope, healing, and the restoration of our common life in truth and justice.

Let us beg the Lord to renew our nation, and make us instruments of justice and peace.
