Can joy really be commanded?

Paul says, "Rejoice in the Lord always." And again, "Rejoice." Not when life is easy. Always. This is deep joy rooted not in circumstances, but in who God is for us in Jesus Christ. Because of Christ, nothing can separate us from His love. If rejoicing feels hard today, start small. Rejoice that He is with you. Rejoice that He has saved you.

What if prayer is simpler than we make it?

Jesus promises this: "Everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Not some. Not the worthy. Everyone. This is the open door of the Gospel. Because of Jesus, we come to a generous Father who delights to give.

Are you holding back today? The invitation is already open. Not because you deserve it, but because He is good. Come to Him with your need, your hope, your heart. He is not hiding. He is listening. Pray with boldness today like a child who knows their Father is kind.
