Last Saturday, over 200 leaders and interns gathered for 𝗣𝗜𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣—a time to pause, reflect, and hear from God as we continue running the race of His mission.

Pastor Ritchie Llanto shared a timely reminder that identity comes before activity and grace comes before good works. Before doing things for God, we must first remember that we are already His and He has already won the victory for us.

As we continue the mission, may we never forget to pause, refocus, and draw strength from the One who called us.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗡𝗘: 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝗚𝗢𝗗-𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘

𝗘𝗱𝘀 and 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮, two of our church members who own a business, have a heart to build a God-centered culture in their workplace. Through a conversation with Kenneth Apines, this desire led them to start a prayer meeting and small group inside their office.

On July 29, they held their first prayer meeting. As they gathered, they felt prompted to share the Gospel, and by God’s grace, one person accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

The following week, three new people joined the prayer meeting—Kuya Winsy, Kuya Robert, and Ate Marisel. Ate Marisel was even an unexpected attendee. She was at the office to have their PLDT internet installed when Ate Mona invited her to join the gathering. As the Gospel was shared again, all three accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The impact of the prayer meeting also extended beyond the workplace. Kenneth saw an opportunity to empower Louis, a student from St. Michael Academy in Valenzuela, and invited him to help lead the prayer meeting. Louis has since been intentionally reaching out to his classmates, inviting them to prayer meetings and youth services, and finding ways to share the Gospel within his campus and community.

Another student, Matthieu from Arellano University Malabon, is also being given opportunities to grow and lead. He has shared a testimony about seeking God first and has led the group in prayer and shared a Bible verse, encouraging others through what God is doing in his life.

What started as a simple desire to build a God-centered workplace has become an opportunity to reach people, disciple them, and empower them to reach others.

This is what Just One is about—reaching one person, helping that person grow in Christ, and seeing them become a blessing and reach others. Through workplaces, campuses, and communities, God continues to open doors for the Gospel and for disciples to make disciples.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗡𝗘: 𝗔 "𝗬𝗘𝗦" 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗 𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬

When we started our 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗻𝗲 campaign this year, we were reminded that discipleship begins with reaching just one. For newly raised leader 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗷𝗼, it became a personal commitment to obey God and make disciples wherever He placed her.

While taking Leadership 113, her classmate Juvy asked Reyssa if she could facilitate a small group in their area. Reyssa immediately said 𝙮𝙚𝙨. She committed to faithfully lead the group every Friday.

What started as a small group grew into a group of nine women, all of whom were not yet believers of Jesus. Most of them came from a different religious background and they had questions about the Bible and the Christian faith.

But Reyssa was not intimidated. She faithfully showed up every week, opened God’s Word with them, listened to their questions, and patiently walked with them as they discovered the truth of Scripture.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲.

Four of the nine women committed to attend our 11AM service at STI. They were discipled, went through One2One, and recently completed Spiritual Foundations, a ten-week class designed to establish believers in biblical foundations.

The other five women are currently going through One2One and are preparing to join the next batch of Spiritual Foundations in 2027.

But the story didn’t end there. As these women experienced God moving in their lives, they began inviting their husbands to join the weekly small group. What started with one leader saying yes is now reaching families.

And now Reyssa’s husband Archie will also be joining the group to lead the husbands as they begin their own journey of knowing God and growing in faith.

Last weekend, we started our five-week series 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. We pray that this series compel us to continually proclaim and demonstrate the gospel to society.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 is not only a requirement for weddings, it is meant to equip engaged couples to have a strong foundation as they begin their lives together, along with the joys and challenges their relationship will bring them under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We pray that these future married couples will have a thriving, lasting, God-centered married lives.

On behalf of the Pastors of Victory Caloocan and our Family Ministry, we would like to congratulate the couples who were part of our last batch this year. We would also like to thank our creative volunteers and Family Ministry leaders who shared their testimonies and hosted the three-week event.

We encourage all engaged couples who are active members of Victory Caloocan and set to get married within the next six months to join our next schedule on February 2027.
