PENTECOST SUNDAY l MAY 24, 2026

TODAY IS PENTECOST SUNDAY.

On this sacred day, we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, igniting their hearts with courage, wisdom and faith to proclaim the Good News to all nations.

🔥 “Tongues of fire came to rest on each of them.”
— Acts 2:3

In this powerful moment, the Church was born in fire and spirit, reminding us that God continues to dwell within His people, guiding and strengthening us each day.

May this Pentecost renew our hearts with the fire of the Holy Spirit, so we may live boldly in faith, love and truth.

THANKSGIVING | ASCENSION OF JESUS | 156TH YEAR FESTAL CELEBRATION OF NUESTRA SEÑORA DELA PAZ 'Y BUENVIAJE | MAY 17, 2026 | SUNDAY

"GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS." (Matthew 28:19)

With great joy and heartfelt gratitude, we extend our sincerest thanks to all the faithful who joined the solemn, vibrant and historic celebration of the 156th Year Festal Celebration of NUESTRA SEÑORA DELA PAZ 'Y BUENVIAJE (Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage) held last Sunday.

As we celebrated the Ascension of the Lord, we were once again reminded that Christ remains alive and continues to guide His people in the mission of faith, unity and peace which is also very relevant to this year's festal theme:

“Pamayanang Kaisa kay Kristo sa Misyon, Kaagapay si Maria sa Pagkakaisa at Kapayapaang Layon”

We also offer our thanksgiving to Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage and to Almighty God for the continuous growth of the Pater Noster Singers family through the blessing of new members who are willing to serve the Lord through their voices and talents.

May our beloved patroness continue to guide us toward a stronger faith and deeper unity as one community of God’s people.

“I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ORPHANS.”

The faithful gathered at Nuestra Señora dela Paz ’y Buenviaje Chapel, Maysilo to reflect on John 14:15–21, where Jesus promised the Holy Spirit — our Advocate and guide.

The gospel reminded us that Christ remains with us through the Spirit of Truth.

“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you always.” (John 14:16)

ANTICIPATED THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER | THE ROAD TO EMMAUS l APRIL 18, 2026

“WERE NOT OUR HEARTS BURNING WITHIN US?”

At Nuestra Señora dela Paz ’y Buenviaje Chapel, Maysilo, the faithful gathered with the Pater Noster Singers and Maysantinig Choir to reflect on Luke 24:13–35, where the Risen Christ is revealed in the breaking of the bread.

The gospel reminded us that Jesus walks with us, especially in moments we fail to recognize Him.

“Stay with us, Lord, for it is nearly evening.” (Luke 24:29)

ANTICIPATED SECOND SUNDAY OF EASTER | DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY l APRIL 11, 2026

"JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU!"

At Nuestra Señora dela Paz ’y Buenviaje Chapel, Maysilo, the faithful gathered with the Pater Noster Singers and Maysantinig Choir to reflect on John 20:19–31, where the Risen Christ calls Thomas from doubt to faith.

In his homily, the priest highlighted the ABC of Divine Mercy: A-sk for Mercy, B-e Merciful, and C-omplete Trust in Jesus. Like Thomas, we are invited to believe and trust even without seeing.

“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29)

Grateful thanks to the Maysantinig Choir for their generous service and for sharing their gift with the Pater Noster Singers, truly a witness of mercy through unity.

TODAY IS EASTER SUNDAY.

On this glorious day, we celebrate the victory of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over despair. Jesus has risen, fulfilling His promise and bringing us new life in Him.

✨ “He is risen!”

In the joy of the Resurrection, we are reminded that no sorrow lasts forever and no tomb can hold the power of God. What was once lost is restored, and what seemed impossible is made new.

May this Easter fill our hearts with renewed faith, unshakable hope, and the courage to live as witnesses of His love and victory.

TODAY IS BLACK SATURDAY.

On this quiet and sacred day, we wait in hope, holding on to God’s promise even in the silence of the tomb. It is a time of stillness, trust, and faithful anticipation of His victory.

✨ “He is going ahead of you into Galilee; there you will see Him.”
— Matthew 28:7

In the stillness, God is already at work, preparing the joy that is to come. Though we may not yet see, we believe. Though we wait, we trust.

May this day remind us that even in silence, the Lord is moving ahead of us—leading us toward new life and resurrection.

TODAY IS GOOD FRIDAY.

On this solemn day, we remember the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus, who bore the cross and endured the crown of thorns out of His great love for us.

✝️ “He carried the cross for our salvation.”
🌿 “He wore the thorns for our redemption.”

This sacred day calls us to reflect on His sacrifice, a love that embraces pain, forgives sin and brings us hope.

Jesus gave everything on the cross, and through His sacrifice, we are saved. May we live in gratitude, humility and love this Good Friday.
