BRIDGES and TUNNELS

The first time I was in Japan in 1984, I was so impressed with their road network, which made travelling smooth and easy, even in mountainous areas. Why? Because they contructed bridges and tunnels, which made downhill and uphill ride less tedious.

In life too, our journey will be smooth if we build bridges that link us and tunnels that connect us to God, and to people.

With bridges and tunnels, deep valleys will not be that deep, and steep mountains will not be that steep.

A MOMENT WITH THE LORD
Lord, instead of walls and dungeons, help me to build bridges and tunnels. Amen.
