We might be guilty of highlighting Exodus as merely God saving Israel from Egypt. But last Sunday, pastor RJ reminded us that God saved Israel for Himself. This is the climax of Exodus: God bringing Israel back to Him, for fellowship and communion. Exodus 40:34-38 says, "And the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle... in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys."

Though their journey may be far from over, one thing is for sure. God is with them and is revealing himself for them and through them. The same thing goes with us, in Jesus.
