The Parish Youth Council successfully conducted Youth Encounter Batch 4, bringing together youth leaders from the different organizations and ministries under the Parish Youth Ministry for three days of prayer, reflection, fellowship, and formation.

This encounter aimed to deepen the participantsโ€™ personal relationship with God, enhance communication and collaboration among youth leaders, and help them gain a deeper understanding of their personal growth, strengths, and responsibilities as servant-leaders in their respective ministries and communities. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors, benefactors, volunteers, facilitators, and supporters whose generosity and dedication made this meaningful experience possible. Your support has greatly contributed to the formation and development of our young leaders.

May the lessons learned, meaningful encounters, and friendships formed throughout this journey continue to inspire our youth leaders to serve with greater commitment, unity, and purpose.

We began this grace-filled journey by celebrating the Holy Mass on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesusโ€”a beautiful reminder of God's boundless love, mercy, and compassion.

After nine years, Youth Encounter has finally returned to our parish, and it is our youth leaders who are the first to experience this renewed invitation to encounter Christ more deeply.

Just as the Sacred Heart of Jesus reveals His boundless mercy, compassion, and unwavering love, may our participants discover that they are deeply known and loved by Him. May they find solace in His presence, healing for their hearts, and the courage to respond to His call.

Please continue to keep our participants, facilitators, and team in your prayers. We keep also in our prayers all our benefactors and sponsors for the event.

Today, May 25, we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians. This year, the celebration was moved from its customary date of May 24 because it coincided with Pentecost Sunday, one of the highest celebrations in the liturgical calendar.

Mary Help of Christians is a beloved title of the Blessed Virgin Mary, honoring her loving intercession and maternal protection for the faithful. Saint John Bosco greatly spread this devotion, entrusting his mission entirely to her care and inspiring generations through the Salesian Family.

Under this title, Mary is honored as a protector, guide, and source of hope who continually leads us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

Our Social Communications delegates from Melchiorre and Juventus are currently participating in the Archdiocesan Media Camp 2026 held at the St. Michael Retreat House from May 22โ€“24, 2026.

Carrying the theme, โ€œPreserving Human Voices and Faces,โ€ this yearโ€™s gathering aims to inspire and form young communicators to become more faithful, creative, and compassionate in the mission of evangelization through media.
